I wouldn't have lollipopped if I didn't have to worry about mold like you guys.

The product is pretty much one hitter quitter stuff... not too shabby for 6 weeks of flowering and early harvest

Been battling mold for the past 6-7 weeks.. seems like the leaves that are dying are instantly molding up and taking down surround buds... anyways the plants could go for another week or 2 but with hunting season starting on sunday, rain on friday and saturday... I've decided to chop my last plant down.... The random bag seed yielded somewhere between 75-90 grams dried... The juicy fruit which I am about to chop I expect about the same yield... Already chopped off 1/2 ounce over the past 2 weeks (branches with too much mold or snapped branches).. Stuffs looking good and very intense marijuana/juicy fruit combo smell that is really smelling up the house.

Here is a picture before the chop yesterday.

Juicy fruit i harvested 2 weeks earlier than I would have liked.... Still turned out to be good stuff, just wasn't as dense as it could have been. Ended up with about 75 grams for the Juicy fruit... putting a total for my outdoor season yield to be around 175grams for this year... not even half of what I would have liked to have ended up with... back to the indoor!

I had to pull my plant early because of mold and also because I was guerilla growing on private property where there would be hunters after september 15th... Deer hunting and turkey hunting were my only risks... Turkey hunters don't scout the ways deer hunters do... its more of calling the turkeys in from areas where turkey have been seen or heard... I had my plants tucked away in some pretty thick stuff that only a deer hunter would even think about tracking through. Better to have an early harvest than risk no harvest... Plus i had been fighting mold all august and september and I knew 1 more rainfall could have cost me a good % of the crop... I'm finding the weather is suitable for growing but you would definitely want to have your plants covered with a greenhouse or carport of some sort...

Follow me in the Indoor grow and show... started some Bubblegummer, C99, Afghan Kush, Northern Light Blue, and Lemon OG kush under 225 watt CFL in soil... Feel free to come check it out! Only did 1 other indoor grow before and didn't make it to harvest...

You would have learnt heaps well done..

Maybe next time plant them directly into the ground....i think your plants will benefit from unretricted growth. I know that you like the option of pulling up the pots...but i say have commitment and faith in the sport you put them. Yeah you mentioned fencing...that is a must.

Also....for your veging...have you considered LED household bulbs? Cree...home depot....check them out....you will have better veg results and lower power bills....but having said that im a 'LED HEAD'

It would cost you 500% more to use LED instead of HID or CFL. I can't justify investing that much for a hobby. I've thought about it, believe me.

I'd put them in the ground right away if I did anything different. As for fencing I think it is mainly necessary for seedling stage... none of my plants were fenced this year and only 2/8 plants got taken by animals... only 1 of my adult plants was damaged by animals. Having a fence will allow me to put them outside while they are still small...

Next time... 20 gallon holes.... Peat Moss / Perlite mixture 3:1... 2 handfuls of dolomite lime per hole. nearly full sun exposure... (no trees within 40 or 50 feet).... germinating beginning of may and moving outdoors after about 1 month.

Well i guess this is how you look at it...each to their own....103 days veg for your Purple Indica seems like it would burn more power....and 103 days is a long time. How many watts were you running for your start? replaced any bulbs?

Fencing: I disagree...i've had whole plants smashed and eaten without adequate fencing...maybe you got lucky?

Yip...i like your ideas for the ground prep....get that cooking in the ground at least a month before you plant them.

even though I vegged for a long time the power usage was minimal... maybe 5 bucks a month...
