Also you need a comal, but a regular cast iron skillet works. Toast your chiles, but don't burn them, you want them to blister a little and release a wisp of smoke. I always throw 1 dried chipotle in to rehydrate with them and use a mix, mostly New Mexico, California, Guajillo and Ancho. I go heavy on the Ancho and I usually add a tablespoon of vinegar and a pinch of cloves.
Those Anchos do seem to displace above their tonnage.

He has little big dog syndrome. Loves dogs his size or smaller but becomes aggressive with larger dogs when they get too close.
My rottweiler would have just sit on him lol he did it to the cat and then just licked her......she was so discussed. Literally you could see "omg dog slober" on her face. He'd sleep with his tongue out and she would do a drive by swat every chance she could lol he'd wake up and be so confused lol

That's the breed that got me into trouble lol. 100+ lb rottweiler went in for a bum sniff and he bit him on the face.
