hey what did it come with exactly?
did it come with a pump thing that wets the soil things or what?
and are u going to do a clone or a seed?

Nope, it didn't come with a pump. If you go to the link I put in the original post, that's exactly as it came. Just the tray and 50 power plugz (1 in each slot)... And I'm doing this with seeds. My seeds are germinating now and are almost ready to be put into the plugz.

Never seen those before but they look like rapidrooters which are available in the us.

when the tails on the seed are a half inch long or so, take an inkpen and shove it all the way thru the plug to deepen the hole. squeeze the plug to open the hole youve made, and put the seedling in root first, til its flush with the top.

Keep it moist, when you see a root come out the plug pot the plug.

They have pre-made holes in them already. Big enough for a seed to drop into... should I just drop the seeds in there or should I force them towards the bottom of the hole?

ok those are like the peat pelits or pucks right if so ur going to have to soke them in ph water or tapp water that has been siting for like a day lt them sit in the water for a while once they expandid all the way like over nite then before u put the seed in the sqeeze it a little to take the excess water out so it aint too wet then put the seed in and put it in the trayand put the cover on and wait till u see the roots then plant the hole thing in the soil

yeah, that sounds like it makes the most sense clowdy. After reading up on similiar things like what I bought it says to soak them and let them expand.. then sqeeze some of the water out, and put in the germinated seed.... I'll try that and I'll let you know how these things go.

fom what it looks like from the pic i think all u have to do is wet the tray some or that soil stuff then drop the germ seed in make sure the soil is moist then put the cover on .
if no cover just leave under light and keep moist dont let it dry out just dont over wet them
does that soil stuff come out? like one of those pellit things?
or is it like soil?
if like soil just wet and drop but if like pellit thing take out and soke it ok

Yeah, it comes out.. it's a hard cube. Do you think I'll be good with boiling some tap water.. letting it sit til it's room temp.... then soaking the cubes in the water for a few hours.. then putting my germinated seeds in there? How far down should I put them? And should I put them root down or root up?

does the cube have like a neting thing around it to keep it all together like the pelletes do?if so try one not all of them see how it works but ya boil the water if ya want to
shouldnt hurt any just speed things up
i would put the seed with the root side ways not up or down side way cause some roots turn this way it really wouldnt matter if it does its like equal this way.

Nope, no netting on the cube. But it is pretty hard... I have 50 of them so I just soaked one to see what would happen and it's staying together.. but it's definitely getting soft.. not mushy or anything, just soft. It isn't falling apart either.

Clowdy... After my seeds sprout should I stick them in some top soil right away? I bought a big bag of top soil and a smaller bag of MiracleGrow.. I wanted to experiment with that a little... Do you think I'd be alright if I put the cubes into regular soil after sprout, and two weeks after that if I put them into miracle grow for the nutes and whatnot? I know the transferring will slow the growth til the babies adjust but what's your outlook on what I said?

I see what you're saying TOKE... Cloning does make more sense with these plugz. I'm totally clueless on how to clone, shit.. my plants aren't even in soil yet... But I've been reading a ton and I'll keep on reading til I get a lot of knowledge about everything... especially cloning 'cause it seems like an easy way to get good bud going.

toke is right on that
if germinated and root is showing just drop in the soil like 1/8 or 1/4 down
i wouldnt use marical grow just because of the slow food release in them its not good cuase when the plants dont need food the MG will still feed it and hurt ur plant ull start getiing nute burn u could go to lot of places and get some good soil i paid like 6,7 bucks for the bag i use and it has sphagnum peat moss ,horticultural vermiculite, perlite, wetting agent and lime for ph balance and i got it at rockeys hardware store.and its great for starting seeds too alround use i think.
great for geting air to everything and great for drainage too and great for keeping moisture so u wouldnt have to water as much.
and dunna: the cubes just wet them till nice and moist all around the put the germ seed inand that should be it just keep moist and wait til roots show the plant them in a soil mix

cloneing is great and ur finished product is alot quick to acheive
but ya i would throw a grem seed staight in the soil

Alright, I'll do it that way with my seedlings. Once the roots start showing through the bottom of the plug I'll put them in some top soil... I needn't have to worry about nutes right away right? I've been reading that I shouldn't feed them anything for their first 2 weeks... After those two weeks, what do you suggest I start feeding them and how often?
