I am interested to hear how you tackle the smell on your next grow. Is this something you think you can pull off in an apt building once you hook up the inline filters?

That is awesome! I am thinking you could build one these cabinets yourself. You can purchase a metal storage cabinet of high quality with locking handles for 289.99, after you add on everything you need your probably around a grand. With some motivation you could save yourself 1-2k diy. It's very nice if you are in a position to invest in a prefab one though. Does yours have any sort of mechanism that turns off the light in the event it gets to hot in the box?

Temp never exceeds 82F so , no it does not shut itself off because it never gets too hot. You have to build the unit out of aluminum, steel would be very heavy. These boxes can be moved easily due to low weight. No way you could build the box for less than $1000. The prefab box would have to be highly modified to work like the BCNL box. Just the items inside the box exceed $1000 in cost. Not something your gonna build in an afternoon.

Like the Cool Cab for instance, pictured below:
This is a little more stealth imo as it looks like something you could have in your home office. While I would much rather have the BCNL box, it looks strange to the average person and may raise an eyebrow. Theres a good video of someone using a Cool Cab on youtube. In a perfect world where you didn't have to worry about being stealth, I would go for the Bloom Box/Producer in a heart beat if the herb was legal.. Hopefully that time will come sooner than later.

Ok last post by myself. Cure is almost done got 12 days today. Now I will only open the jars once a week. Took some samples today..very good stuff, nice and dense with a turpentine smell when you break it up, some of the best I have smoked. Very fruity tasting with a hash aftertaste, initial green hit almost reminds me of the taste of fruity pebbles cereal. the high comes on very very strong, northern lights is one of the strongest strains out there. Very cerebral at first, really gets me motivated to delve into one of my hobbies, takes my chronic back pain away and allows me to actually bend over and tend to my plants. After about an hour the couch lock comes on and then you want to take a little nap and maybe eat some chips or anything salty. Really really good stuff, a few people been asking me when my next batch would be here because they liked the last so much, they are going to be pleasantly surprised by the better results. A connoisseurs weed for sure and one of my top 5 I have ever tried.

I use the HPS bulbs and the Fluoro at the same time for veg and just the HPS for flower. Since they have lumatek digital ballasts you do not need a conversion bulb. A pair of 400 Watt MH bulbs works perfectly fine, but less hassle to just use the HPS.
