BC Seeds.com & Elephant Outdr Strain

Hi Everyone.

I'm a newbie and I have experienced a couple of outdoor grows. I got massively ripped off one summer and this summer I did ok. These experiences made me start looking for ultimate strains that had large yields for outdoor growing. I ordered seeds from BC Bud Depot (pinewarp & Sweettooth), Kootenay Mountain (jumbo Grizzly), BC Seeds (Elephant Outdoors) and the AAA Seed company (Texada Time Warp). My decision is to give the elephant outdoors the go...

There's a lot of controversy about BC Bud Depot and BC Seeds. BC Bud depot won't respond to your emails and they're not even in Canada. BC Seeds has some strains that are crazy expensive. The oracle is $1995.00 for ten seeds! But I ordered the elephant outdoors ($395.00 for ten seeds) which is supposed to produce 3-10 pounds of wet weed with the right conditions. They were the only seed company to send double the amount ordered plus a bonus strain of about 20 seeds. They only take cash payments which scared me but I bit the bullet and ordered twice. Both times they sent me my stuff plus I received double my order plus the bonus strain each time.

I can't comment yet about how this plant will grow. After next summer I'll hopefully be able to post some pictures. I guess I'm going to be the test subject as to whether Elephant outdoors is as great as they say it is. Wish me luck eh!

My goal for next summer is very rural grow sites and big yield. But will it happen? I prey to the universe that it will and that I won't be ripped off by ganja bandits...:-)

At least you tried BC seeds as compared to many other nay sayers who don't try them out. What strains did you try outdoors? You said five of them. Did you email that guy and complain? Ask for him to intervene by giving you either replacement seeds or your money back?

I'm saddened to hear that happened to you man. I'm nervous because I have elephant outdoor being cloned for me.

Hope 2010 is better for you!

Sincerely,

sorry to everyone who posted in this thread. I also had another one going about BC seeds. I was taken for a ride by BC seeds. The elephant outdoor strain was crap. It grew tall but it went way into October and in BC that means bad outcome. The weed got all moldy. It was a disaster. If you're in Canada and somehow you find any BC seeds for sale I say approach with caution and certainly don't grow elephant outdoors in Canada's climate. Get an early finisher like dr. greenthumbs iranian short season, or kootenay mountain seeds nepalese grizzly. What a huge lesson for me as I spent $1000 on seeds or more, and I hiked out so much soil I lost all my extra weigh, which was the only great thing that happened to me plus being outdoors I guess. Pick your strains wisely good people. That's my lesson. I took a break for a few years from this place and thought I'd better come back and apologize to anyone who bought from BC seeds. I was certainly caught up in their hype and I paid for it in spades. Now I'll start to do some new research for strains outside in BC, Canada. I'm now closing this thread.
