Good set up you got there. I know little about scrog but it looks like you know what you are doing there. Good luck!

thanks jamie, i know a little bit, it helps that i am a bio major and i have a good understanding of how plants work in general. i also read a lot on this site. i probably spend a few hours a night looking through stuff, the growFAQ especially. anyways thanks for the comment!

so last night i checked the pH of the dirt and it's just under 7.0 so not too bad. One of my girls is touching the screen! and with any luck will have enough length to do some training tomorrow or the next day! yay for SCROG!
now on to more important things

here are some pics from today. day 35 temp 80 degrees F, humidity 39%. Got a little growth through the screen! few more days and it will be training time! I'm going out right now to get a humidifier to bump the humidity up a bit. I'm hearing it needs to be 50 % and up?

so i decided against getting a humidifier for now. i don't want to risk getting mold or anything. so unless it is a for sure problem i'll just leave it as is. As for today's update, the plants are looking wonderful, lots more growth through the screen and the second lady is right behind the taller one. SCROG is soooo much fun!

Well im not quite sure. But i just looked at my babies and it seems that BOTH of them are males! im sooo pissed right now. They were supposed to be feminizied seeds, and i know that there it's not for sure, but still. anyways i need to look at this further. im too pissed to do anything but take my mind off of it.

Oh, feminized seeds have a high hermie rate. but the worst you should see is a hermie, not a male. Those are probally little pre-flowers that haven't showed the pistils yet. I had a very beautiful planbt that grew faster than the rest of my plants, but I thought it was a boy so I chopped it down and used it for cloning practice. Well, rooted 7 clones and decided to throw em out in the back yard. I went outside today, looked at one of the clones and it had pistils showing >=O

It was far past saving though..

so after researching further i have come to find that they are in fact, as ganji2 said, hermies. I did some reading on feminizied seeds and read that the hermies have female pollen and when fertilized produce female seeds. Which are what feminizied seeds are supposed to be, i just happened to get two that hermied out. so i have decided to continue the grow because i need the SCROG practice and i will get some bud out of it. Also i will have "feminized" seeds so i will be able to try again and again. i got a macro lens from one of my budies so i will post some pics of the balls shortly.

So here are several pictures of the balls. Another thing you will notice in the bud shots, the plants have already started to produce seeds, but no pollen sacs have opened yet. From what I understand they should be "female" seeds. If anyone can shed some light about feminizied seeds that I don't already know please do. Anyways I have also decided to try and collect some of the female pollen in hopes to pollenate another female down the road, esentially crossing it with female blueberry pollen. We shall see. comments please.

hmmmm if you have pollen in your grow room you will have hundreds of seeds i shit you not
and as for (still having bud) its barely weed man i had to roll like 3 grams worth of my seedy shit to get 1 joint if you see balls rip the summa bitch out

looking good even though u got balls im with u i would keep em goin if there a good strain then u will have good seeds

yeah i'm still gonna grow them out because i want to have all those fem. seeds, then i can grow some more blueberry. I started flowering as of tonight, they will get 12 hrs of dark and tomorrow 12hrs of light. Can't wait for the next grow when i try a granddaddy purple seed my boy found in some gp bud, also i'll be trying another blueberry and maybe a beaster seed i have. anyways i will continue to post updates on here even though they hermed out.

Your very confused my man, Yu fuckin kill the males, yu keep the females and if it ur first grow which it seems to be dont even fuck around with pollen or ur whole crop will get fucked. If u wanna keep a male top it and put it in a closed off space with a mirror under it in a cup. The pollen will stick to ur clothes and u can still pollinate ur plants so be careful.

dude thanks, but this is not my first grow. and they are feminized blueberry plants so why wouldn't i want to keep the plant to get free blueberry seeds? i know that you are supposed to throw the males away, but why spend money on fem. seeds when i can get a whole shit pile for free? then continue on my quest to grow good bud? i don't see the harm in it, plus i am still getting practice for the next scrog i do.
