Bay Area growers

I’m gonna be growing in the foggy sunset district. Any tips?

When do you guys like to germinate seeds and when to you like to toss them outside?

Also same question with clones?

I’ve grown in Marin and Berkeley/emeryville area my advice would be to find a good hybrid that will finish in 9 weeks max. The temps really dip down as you know and any sativas start to struggle not to mention the moisture you’re used too will gradually get worse and worse.

Harborside in Oakland always has great cuts and seeds alike.

I would for sure go there or another dispensary and ask some questions over this forum ( sorry people ) as their knowledge will be volumes. Water as it pertains to our climate here in the bay area

As for when to toss lots of variables to consider

supp lighting?
Greenhouse?
What size pots?
Strain?

If you’re a 1st time grower Id throw out on may 5 ( the days will gradually grow longer thus preventing flowering from the lighting shift of 24/0 or 18/6 )

This will actually be my first time devoting all my time for a outdoor season. This will be the first time I’m growing in dirt.

I grew in a hempy bucket before using the Lucas formula with good results

I was gonna grow them outside this time. I don’thave a extra room this year.

Debating if I should pot them or go straight to ground.

Also debating if I should get greenhouse

Strains I want to grow this year is
Peanut butter, OG, Mimosa, and Platnium skittlez
