I agree.. I got a full plastic container of nothing but fruits vegetables grass clippings and dry leaves .

homemade compost will have just about every thing in it that you need bat shit is just about all nitrogen and not to much of all the other stuff plants need

Well composted ruminant manure RULES! I include it in all my soils!

I think @ganga gurl420 is doing some runs in it alone and doing GREAT! (If I'm not mistaken)!

Compost is great but adding some guano won't hurt it. Not an either or as I think.

OK I got a barn and my family has had cows for 40 yrs. There is a section in which the cows have pooped in. I dug there and the ground. It's really brown in color but the deeper I go it gets blacker.. Is this manure ready to use or do I need to mix it due to being so high in nitrogen

How do you not know when manure is ready on a family dairy farm?

Its not dairy . they are pets.. I have never used manure before so just asking
