Basic water guide for my plants help

Hey so i have my plants in 3 gallon pots and they are about three weeks old. I know the feel of the pot and how the plant looks is a great indicator for when to water. Howver its my first grow and i don't have too much experience. Is there a basic rule of thumb for 3 gallons and 3 week old plants? 350ml 500ml per plant? Something like that? Plants look fine was just wondering if there was a rule i could go by....

I don't grow in soil OR hand water
but I'd be surprised if there is a table of recommended amount of water correlating to plants at different ages and stages.
There's just too much variation between different plants (species, strain and individual genetics) to make such a table a realistic proposition.

You could start to document plant age - size - water usage
and see if you find a predictable increase in usage...?

just use common sense, they will tell you what they need, and it depends on the soil,im useing 3 gal pots,i give 3 pots about a gallon of water every 3 or 4 days,if soil isnt good n wet after that ill wait and add alittle more the next day, come downs to relax and use common sense, lol

Fully water until you have runoff at the bottom. Every day afterwards tip the pot a bit to get an idea of how heavy it is. Depending on pot size you should start expecting to find a much lighter pot. Somewhere around 3-4 days later. Make a mental note of how the pot weighs after 3-4 days and use that as a future gauge as to when to water. I avoid that whole hassle by watering with nute-water every day. In 3 gallon pots most vegging plants get about a cup of water daily. Flowering gals may get up to 2 cups of nute-water daily. But get to know moisture levels via pot weight. Then you are on the way to being an OG. BigSteve.

Every environment and situation is different. Sometimes in veg I dont even have to water but once a week up to 2 weeks at a time. I have low humidity and liw temps too so they dont dry out fast at all
