Mine r going out this weekend already got a three foot bush out there for about three weeks now seems to be doing good no sighns of stress or flowers yet also I dig a tree foot ditch Probly 4x4 and threw ten seedlings with only one set of true leaves I usually would wait but just going for it but I think the north east is safe by no last frost day for my area is may first n its Ben eighty plus degrees

Doesnt matter. The daylight hours are still under 12 hours of light so it just may flower or stall out and have to reveg alittle bit. I have 6' plants that are still indoors under a 600w MH because the days are still too short. I live in the NE so I know whats up with this area.

Thats good advice but I have to put them out May 1st. I cannot wait 6 more weeks.

strange that new england is still getting less than 12 hours of sunlight still...sun is up here at around 6 and gets dark at 8

Im just going by the weather stations almanac. It says its getting 11 hours and 9 minutes of daylight. I thought the same thing you wrote. I had some advice not to put them out yet so I checked the local sunrise - sunset times and thats what it said. I guess the first hour and last hours dont count because the sun is not hitting the ground. Its only barely lighting the sky below the horizon.

lol nah man....if the sun it out and it is light it counts...may not be real close to your area or ideal but it still stops a plant from flowering with that light... i just looked up boston weather... sunrise today 5:58 a.m. going to set at 7:30 p.m. that is 13 hours and 32 minutes of sun...plenty of sun to veg in...good luck

Alright! Very Good. I really need to get these out so I can take down my 6 and set up my cloner and 2 tube shoplight.

i don't grow outside myself but i know a couple people who do with great success. the key is to plant no earlier than mid may and make sure the strain can finish by mid october or the frost might get 'em. this is in mass so i don't know about further up north.

hey balzac, had an idea for your guide based off of my own location I know that growing in the ground can be difficult sometimes(hard, rocky, desert, etc..) and personally I cant get a shovel to my plot, so when I put my ladies out this season I'm going to be keeping them in pots and spray painting the pots desert digital. Donno if other people have thought about incorporating camo patterns like this but I know it will help me out in my situation. cheers. 
EDIT: I didnt read through all six pages of this, but I did read the plot selection,etc, on the first few pages. I don't think it was mentioned in what I read, I donno, just tryna contribute my two cents

DAYLIGHT hours r not shorter then12 and like I said ihave more going out later I don't think a breif flowering is gonna slow things down that significantly I'm more worried about shocking them on the move out but sofar they have showed no negatve response and even the one that Ben out for three weeks has not showed any sighns of flower .my plan is gona b to move some out every weektil nice may then I will start bringing out the clones do u guys think late may will b safe to bring them out

just wonderin what you thought of my latest technique, I bought one of those Jiffy greenhouses with the pellets for like 3$ it starts 12 plants and I germed my seeds for a day and a half in a shot glass and then when I noticed theyd cracked and the tap root was showing I put them in the pellets following the directions and now theyre sitting ontop of my Satellite box for warmth. A lil gimmicky, I know it wouldvbe been just as well to put them into soil after germing, But these are the last of my seeds and I do not have the option of ordering any this season.

Should b fine keep em warm n MOIST not wet I some times only mist my sprouts with a spray bottle after they poke through what r ur means of light gonna b flouros window or strait outside
