I'm okay with throwing $70-200 on a pack of seeds if it ends up being worth thousands to me. I find keepers, I run them for years.
As for your other comment, breeding is about skill, end of sentence. There are plenty of breeders cranking out tons of garbage using giant facilities, both here in the US and abroad. Meanwhile a lot of the best genetics of the past 20 years have been made by breeders working with limited space, but doing years of selection and working with the best elite cuts.
Honestly you seem to talk about Mr. Nice a lot, and if you want a nice haze then by all means go there, but the Dutch & Swiss indica game is mostly high yielding garbage compared to what we have here in the states. Only DNA and Karma have any game there and they aren't cheap. And sure, some plants will give you thousands of seeds per plant, but not og or cookie strains, they are kinda bitches like that. OGKB and forum cut crosses are expensive because they veg slow and their ridiculous bud density makes them unusually hard to pollenate.
 
I use money because I have a family as most of you do that you provide for. This endeavor will never be what provides the necessities for my family to survive... I do it as a release, for therapeutic purposes, because it is my passion, and frankly I could go on on... One thing that it will never be to me is all about money... I'll burn all mine once the rest of you decide its time to burn yours! But until then, it is a necessary thing for all of us...:peace:

Ironically he started his rant 1 post after a pic of a seed pack with the words "freebie" written right in it lol. How do you knock a guy giving away free seeds over the price? Maybe he was looking for the Gage thread, they bitch a lot about price in there. Hey Al I'll take the door prize if he doesn't want it? Lol

The male actually had female hairs in some places so I scrapped it I wanted that pollen but better safe than sorry
All te ones I soaked sprouted tails in 24 hrs and got planted into some green solo cups
The other "supersilver Sinatra " is confirmed male only had about three weeks veg from seed I think but she is pretty
