barneys vannila kush !

anyone grew barneys vannila kush ? any tips on this strain

like how tall is it likely to grow once i flip 12/12 under a 600 watt hps in a 4x4 ft x 6 ft tall grow tent with good ventilation ( soil grow )

i usually veg till 14 inch high then flip 12/12 / my white widows get to about 3ft ish so no problem with hieght but these vannila kush could be big,,,, any tips will be greatly appreciated peeps !

I'm currently growing VK and she's 81 days old and 49 days into flowering. You can view my journal here.

My impression of VK is that she's very sensitive to overfeeding and overwatering. I shocked my VK slightly when she was 23 days old, after which she developed claws and has never recovered.

In terms of height, mine measures about 105 cm. I gradually eased her into 12/12 when she was 30 days old.

Hope my journal gives you some tips.

ello m8 just been through ur journal and its a very impressive way to detailur grow and then give others the chance to see ur progress ! so i signed up y i was there so i can do one also, lol, but back to ur VK u av done a lovely job from what i av seen , aint read it all but had a quick skip through it but will revert back to it when i pop me beans ! not to happy about the sativa thing being it will take 12 weeks to flower but i av a slightly different light arangement whether that will speed up flower we shall see but +rep for you man on ur growing skills and advice given today. thanks man much appreciated!

According to Barneys, VK flowers for 60-70 days, with some reports suggesting > 75 days. I'm not sure what the Inidica/Sativa ratios are for VK only to say that mine looked veeery Indica for the first 30 days (i.e fat broad leaves) then went into Sativa mode (long skinny leaves). Having said that, I'm not sure if that is the strain/genome or my newbish growing skills.... probably the latter.

all good got the activation email, so i stared my journal but i aint got it open to public maybe i should change for all to view ! will be popping the beans around the tenth of this month so i am gonna start filling it in, and as i go read urs and other peeps grow diarys as i go !!!! top man for ur post as not only are u a decent grower but u av hooked me to a gr8 little place to journal my grow, is there a web add for it or somethink i can google to get the link as i av to go via my email link from grow guide ,, its just i like to delete all such emails but untill i no another way to link in i will keep the email. peace man !

That's completely up to you my friend. If you want to share the grow then go ahead... or keep it private. You can change that setting any time you want/need.

My dad has amazing green fingers. I remember this one time I got two little banana plants (they were tiny - like 2 inches in a little tube in gel). I grew one and gave him the other. Six months later mine grew to about 10 inches whilst his was about five feet tall. A year or two later mine had died whilst he'd cloned the one I gave him into six plants, each seven feet tall and all bearing bananas. Shame he doesn't toke; he would have enjoyed it I think.
