Doing this grow on a much smaller scale then last time with the MH and HPS.

Started germing the seeds monday night and put them in rock wool this morning because they had popped. Pictures to follow - just wanted to start the thread.

Supposedly the strain produces a trippy effect which many have reported back as true. Hence the name.

But I somewhat agree... the name is quite misleading!

Checked on the kids this morning... a nice balmy 79 degrees in there but they still haven't popped out of the rock wool. I'm sure they will by tomorrow.

Pretty sure this strain "LSD" means Lemon Sour Diesel. I remember reading this a while back on a different thread, correct me if I am wrong. I, too, was kind of distracted by the name as well since anyone who has ever taken this substance would be. But I was glad to hear it had an alternate meaning then Lysergic acid Diathlamide. Lemon Sour Diesel is much more fitting (depending on the genetic's roots).

subscribed! i have 2 lsd growing. i will taking clones soon then flowering. mine have been streching quite a bit which is weird since they are supposed to be a short plant. my pheno's seem more like a sativa. i'm looking forward to see how yours look.

i have also heard that this strain is different than lemon sour diesel.

Got a leaf popping out of the rock wool on one plant - nothin on the other so far. I'm sure by tomorrow night I'll have a couple of girls to stare at!

Well seed one and two both died. The only thing I can figure is that they didn't like the pH of the water in the rock wool. (Since you have to hydrate them with 5.5 water) So this time I started two in towels again... then transfered to cups in jiffy mix. This time we are doing much better. Healthy little seedlings!

I have killed seeds in RW also...great for cuttings, but I have had better success with jiffy mix.

Yeah, last time I took cuttings in RW I got a 100% success rate out of it with that and some cloning gel.

One of the plants is growing incredibly rapid bu the stem/stalk isn't keeping up... it actually tipped over from being top heavy with all the green leaf that has grown. I propped it up for now... hope the stalk catches up in the next few days.

The ladies are doing quite well. The one that tipped over due to a weak stalk caught to itself and is doing awesome. This will be the plant I turn into the mother for sure. Gave them both their first dose of nutes... a very mild 400 ppm of some AN Micro and AN Nivanna. I'll take some pics in the next couple of days.

Good luck with your grow. I'm going to be watching this. I had a few of the LSD seeds croak on me too. Not used to that. I'm soaking them in plain H2O for 24hrs then to a moist paper towel, and finally to rapid rooters. I also had two out of my batch of 11 that wanted to fall over as well. I propped them up with plant markers and they seem to be ok.

Im growing lsd at the moment but there in flower, ant tips for cuttings for my next lot? when should i take them and could i just stick them in the veg room for light in the propagator?

Oh would like to see some pics of your grow.

Sorry I haven't gotten pics up yet. I promise I'll get 'em up tomorrow!

Taking the best plant out to water I accidentally bent the stalk over. I forget what that technique is called.... pinching it off so it supposedly grows back stronger? Did on accident! lol Tough lady though, she already bounced back straight up in a few hours though the leaves are still a little droopy. I'm confident the leaves will follow in the next 12 hours.

As far as clones the keys seem to me are a) dont worry to much. b) get a nice super sharp razor blade to take your cuttings c) a good rooting gel d) plenty of humidity (misting the cloning chamber often e) 24 hours of light f) dont worry to much. I got a 100% success rate with this method. :)
