Barney's farm grape ape, few days b4 harvest

They've fatten up over the last week, the purple hasn't shown like I wanted it to. There's 3 pheno's so I guess I got the bottom barrel one. They smell very spicy and are very top heavy!! I'll be cutting them down in a few days from the looks of the glands. Here's some photos. Comments are welcomed I can't wait to smoke her!

Very nice, How long did you flower? And what are the trichs looking like?

I'm in mid week 7, by looking at the. Trichs I'm at the majority milky/ cloudy , very few amber. I vegged for 8 weeks started counting after the seed broke ground and opened, and thanks! I'll post a photo of the trimmed plant when ready,

I don't think that plant is a few days from being ready more like 2 weeks. Most of the pistils are still white and not recessed into the calyx. Trichs are only part of the equation. It sucks to wait I know but chopping them early just loses yield and results in a short-lived high IMO. But it def looks great!

Thanks for the insite ! I haven't taken to clippers to her yet, and I know hat ya mean waiting does suck but yes I agree with u 100% on results and lost weight! I'll wait until this weekend post some photos and see what yall think.

So I went to look at the ladies today and man it's like the weight fairy came by, lots of the buds are starting to sag low . So now tomorrow I gotta pull the garden steaks and tomatto cages outside and Jerry up a way to support the buds! On the other plant these buds are big but they can support there own weight. Wounder why?

The purple is starting to show in the sugar leafs and making there way to the bud. It's slow but hey, it's finally here! Once they start showing good purp if they do I'll post some photos for sure

What kind of lighting system are you using on the plants and what size pots?,

I have the same strain going on about 4 weeks but can't find much info about the grape ape by Barney's farm. They list it as 50% sativa while grape ape should be pure indica! Hopefully this is the actual grape ape and not a random one lol

Weksos & blitz . I checked on them tonight, I'm going to wait until this sat to cut down, I'll post some photos tomorrow, there packing on some nice weight I'm glad I waited , I had to put some extra steaks in the soil to support the buds. The top cola on the one lady that had the cooltube wing fall and cut it while in veg is huge. It's 8 1/2 inches long. Dam near 3 1/2 inches longer then the other one and as round if not a tab bit larger then a full corn cob!

La resistance, she's not as purp like I hoped for, she is getting nice pink/ purp hues though. And looks like she's going to be a awesome smoke. Nice fat buds and sticky as hell,, !! You got me stoked

Great looking plants man! I grew some of the clone only GA in PDX and it was a joy, but had mold issues from the dense fat nugs, she def. like to be super cropped/pinched. What size pots are those? they look like 5 but my guess is more 10 from the size of those plants. very nice!

Im using a 400 watt hps, I got the bulb from the hidhut , it's there house brand. I've spent some on more expensive bulbs and to tell ya the truth , if they put out the same watt, kelvin , and light indecks why spend more. More marketing then anything I say.
I vegged for 8 to 9 ish weeks , they started in 1/2 gallon pots and ended in 3 gallon pots. I'll grow this again, but next time vegg for about 12 weeks in 5 gallon pots. If you have the room I recamend spreading open the branches rather then lst or screen of green,.
she has tons of side shoots all over her. And you kick you self whenYou see her in flowering. She grew about a foot taller in flowering but bushed out a ton. She took well to all nutes, I ran general organics with roots organics kelp, she responded better to feeding with the ph at 6.3. At 6.5 she stared having a few nute problems but responded well to heavy feelings. I'm sad to say the purp/pink colors didn't show until I dropped the temps at night. I was hopping she would purp on her own. And mine look dam near all Indica . Large wide fan leafs, short tight iner nodes and a bush.

There in 3 gallon pots, lol. I plan on growing this again in 5's for 12weeks I. Veg next time. She should be a monster then! I hope I don't get mold , I grew some awesome blueberry but ran into that problem, pretty much had to flush most of it. I started using kelp for the first time during this grow and I'll say she did get larger with it compared to my other grows.

3 GAL.! wow very nice bro, you say you veg for 12 weeks? from seed or clone? 5 months waiting for a plant is too much for me, unless it was outdoors. do you only crop twice a year? they look dank regardless.
