LMAO! Thanks bro! I actually thought I was wrong for that. I had no choice but to. They're not doing so good today. I mean they look good but the roots have gone to shit. They're mushy and something is clouding up my res's. All 6 Res were cloudy yesterday. I changed the res water. Half got cloudy again. pH going crazy on the 3 plants flowering. Never happened before until I added FloraNectar Sweetner. I have called 4 different Hydro store asking about the product and about the cloudiness and all of them have said it's not the Sweetner. They say they highly recommend it and it shouldn't do that. He said it would raise the pH a litlle but not much. It didn't raise the pH it dropped it down to 3.8. WTF! I've never in the 3 months of using theses reses, have I had any pH swings. AT ALL! and all the res' pH are swinging. Everyone keeps saying it the water temp but it's not. My water doesn't go past 74 F. It has made it to 78F in the past but not now. I use 2 liter botlles of ice when the hit 74 F. and I bring it down to 64-65 F. I never had a problem with wat I'm doing. My roots were looking soooooo good. Than within 5-6 hours it went to shit. In all the res'es. I'm flushing the BC right now. Tryin to see if roots get saved. They said at the store it be fine, just flush. I don't know about that. They said it would shock the plant and mess up it's flowering time by a few days but it should jump back. I'm hoping so. I don't think I'll be using sweetners in Bubbleponics anymore. When I get my Ebb & Grow(Flow), IWS system maybe. Cause the roots aren't constantly submerged in the water. Growing can be a little discouraging when u keep running into problems. I've actually thought about switching to soil. Just seems so much easier. IDK yet. I was going to go to soil till I found out harvest will come alot later then hydro.
I used Gen. Hypnotic with great success and someone said they where having good growth with Liquid Karma, Fuck! this shit is to strong and even at 1/4 was to much so I ditched that and I’ll use it on my outdoor evergreens.
I used KLEEN in a 3 hour emersion of the roots and re-did the water and nutes and back on track.
I'll never intro my plants to a new product near harvest again

Now these first pics are of my 6 foot tall Power Skunk. She has about 100 or so of these buds/nugs on her. Seems like the nugs are startin to stretch. Not sure if that's right. What was a little ball of hair is now stretching into wat I'm hoping looks like will soon be big buds. Check the pics out 4urself and gimme some input. When I tell u there's a shit load of these popcorn buds, I am not exagerating. And they smell so, so sweet. My whole place reeks because of that and 1 of my BC's. I had had a problem with sweetners(General Hydroponics FloraNectar), but for some reason the PS loves the sweetner. Nothing has happened to my res, as the other 5 res did. I just changed out the res for the PS and added some more sweentner and it's been 3 days and water is lookin great. Temperature had a big issue I think. I'm going to cunduct a test with temp and that sweetner. I have a feeling once it's in the res, the temp can't go above 72 or the sweetner turns/spoils. Which is funny cause it's stored in mid 70's temp. I guess once it's mixed w/ the water and nutes, since it's organic sweetner, it probably cause a reaction to it. I will conduct test and get back with results.

Now for the BC. Let me tell u. This freakin thing stinks! Holy Shit! The one that has more of a cola, is exactly that, nothing but a decent size cola. A few nugs here and there. Has a Fruity Pebbles Smell, probably from my nutes. The cola/bud is dark green, nice and dense also. Now the other bushy one. OMFG! The buds are like these like neon lime green fuzzy balls. That's exactly what they are. Fluffy, yet dense in weight(if that makes any sense). Kinda spongy feeling. The smell is YUM YUM YUM. Smells like there's a hint of grapefruit. Like I mentioned to other people, I hate grapefruit, but I love this BC smelling like one. And it looks so scary. I'm gonna be afraid to smoke it. I still got about another 3 weeks, so it'll probably look even scarier then. It already looks like it's covered in snow. And on the bottom branches now, I've got hairs coming out of the craziest places. Like places where leaves have done fallen off. It's crazy down there. I took some pics of it. It's the one I'm parting the bush. LMAO! I said parting and bush in the same sentence. HA! TA DUM CHSSHH. Thank u very much. Don't forget to tip ur bartender............

Wow! That BC is fuzzy. Look like you ate some paper and threw up on the plant! That's not the way to get your ruffage! They look perfectly normal to me. My bagseed didn't look much different at that stage except for the number of bud sites. You're using 1000 watt now, right? That Power Skunk is scary! I only start looking for doneness when about 1/2 those white hairs turn some kind of color. It's all going well from what I see. Might have delayed the finish with the problems you've had but It looks yumming. Can't wait for the smell! Speaking of which, I'll clone the BC today and then will throw it into flower in a couple of days after it recovers a bit. Do for a res change then too so it's flower city while I try to get the sisters going. Peace.

Female seeds w/o a doubt. U can get hermies from Both FEM and REG seeds. If u stress that plant enuff. I've been blessed cause my plants def. been thru some stress. As far as strains, u need to do ur homework on what u like. I would recommend u start off with inexpensive, BUT name brand breeders. Greenhouse puts out a mix packet. It's 5 different strains in 1 pack. There is about 8 different mixed packets. Plus the seeds are colored so u r assured those are the seeds. Here check out this website. Click HERE. <----That link will take u to the site I get my beans at. On ur left hand side there is a list of seedbanks. Click on Green House Seeds CO.(check out the colored mixed seeds there. U'll see them.) And Barney's Farm. Those 2 seed banks are trust worthy and have won several Cups. Plus they're inexpensive. U can get a 5 pack for $35 of Feminized seeds. P.S. They also give u some decent free beans for free. The first pack are 5 regular seeds(Thai Super Skunk, when u spend 2 cents, or just pay for S+H, they'll send it free then) and after that u get 1 Feminized seeds. Depends how much u spend, they keep giving u different free Feminized seeds. Right now the female free seeds are when u spend . I placed how much u have to spend for each beans. I agree with Dodge. You may get hermies either way and because you are new you have a bit of a chance to mess something up. Here's the way I started to grow. Took some bag seeds and practiced. First grow was pitifull. Killed all but one plant. Second grow - same bag seed but that is when I found this thread and the results were good, not great but all the plants lived all the way to finish. A real pain in the ass to have to cut out male roots. Took some clones from my second grow, threw out the males. That became my third grow and is finishing up in about a week and I have one bud as big as a beer can. Decided to go to known genetics for the forth grow since I have proven skilz now. LOL! I have the same Blue Cheese that Dodge has and a couple of fem LSD from Barney's farm. I got them here:

Yeah, I ordered about a month ago and got them in 10 days. Got 10 fem grapepurp and he threw in 11 purpleskunks (non-fem but free is free). Seeds came in a bubble wrapped envelope. Just looked like personal mail. Arrived in good order in those little bitty plastic baggies with I picture of the seeds tucked in. He's low tech and low price for what you get. They are on my things to do list. Probably a couple of grows away. I want to play with the BC and LSD for awhile. If some of that free purple skunk is a male and the weed is good I may cross the BC and/or LSD and get some Purple and Blue Cheese or some Purple Acid! A man can dream can't he! I'll just throw the mail outside and get some pollen saved up and do the mad scientist thing! Bwaaa Haa Haaa!

Hey your Older fan leaves turn yellow while in flowering? Seems like my older leaves are turning yellow. A bunch of them on all 3 plants. And they're in separate res. But the newer leaves are looking healthy as shit.

Yes but my flower is bag seed. Not bad but very consistent. Enough to keep a friend in hash oil while he was dry. I played around with adding some more of the Grow nutes and that helps a little. Slowed it down. I didn't worry to much. I figured that when I jumped the nutes to a max ppm for the res change that I might have shocked it a little. Still have plenty of green lfan leaves. They are dying from he bottom as they should. Not much light down there on some of them.

MC Wat the fuck are u on? U greedy bastard, PASS IT THIS WAY! LMAO! U already been fuckin with that "Purple Acid", huh? I don't know if u were answering my ???? about the yellow leaves. My older fan leaves are turning yellow, I was wondering if urs did the same thing the last few weeks. I'm about to start week 6 on Monday. And u wouldn't believe it. I had a few popcorn nugs that were sorta 30ish-40ish% orangish hairs(thats a lot of ISHES huh?) So I cut 2 branches of the PS and a few nugs off the 2 BC's totaling about 10.5 grams fresh cut. I got them water cyring now. Plus it was kind of an emergency being that for 3 days I had to smoke vaporized left overs. Which did the job for the first day. So I took a nug from the Smelly BC that I've been raving about(it was still fresh cut) and stuck it in Da Buddha© and vaped away. MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went deaf for a second. I SWEAR! My ears starting ringing and shit, then I felt a nice wave and I was ready to go. U know that uppity, jacked up feeling(yeah u know what I'm talkin about). I was all over the place at 3 AM. Lasted for about 2 hours or so. And I kept ???? myself how could I have gotten high off the shit.I know it still has a lot more budding to go, cause hairs are starting to come out of the wierdest places. I guess now more light has penetrated thru since I made the switch from 400-1000 watts. These nugs are starting to groe crazy. I can notice the difference in nugs every day. And 95% of the plants are still white hairs except the few I picked and a couple of nugs still on the plant. I can't lie I just cut another little nug off the PS that was ready. I'm high as shit AGAIN! Anyways. I just picked up a sack so I will leave the girls alone, so I won't effect them. I made sure to read about it first, and 99% of the people said a few nugs is alright. As long as u don't go crazy. And I really didn't. It actually helped make openings for more light to penetrate thru. I also read pruning during the last 2 weeks is very good, so light can penetrate thru for those inside buds to ripen. They said start from the bottom up. And don't get carried away. Also don't remove the top fan leaves. Nor if they're green. But if their yellowing, as their suppose to be towards the end(which kind of confuses me, cause I've seen people's plants be vibrant green still after they've chopped it.) They have however been consuming lots of their nutes, And I haven't topped off this week because they have sucked their nutes down almost 150 PPM's And this week I'm suppose to bring them down to 825 PPM, so I'm lettin them suck wat they can out of this last High dosed nutes. I switch my res once a week anyways. And I already got some water bubbling for Sundays change. Last week of food. Next Sunday FINAL FLUSH! Yeah
! Now what I need to figure out is this. I read u can pick the buds and let the plant have a second harvest. There are some lower parts I don't think will be anywhere ready in 2 weeks. And there is ALOT of hairs, And I mean ALOT, all over the bottom and inside of that delicious BC. So I would like to try to let those flowers/hairs form into nugs. It would be a really big yield I'm assumin,cause of the numerous bud sites where a bunch of hairs are pushing thru. I wish all these hairs and bud sites that just popped up on that BC been there 2-3 weeks ago, dang it! Also What I would like to know is, if u put a plant into flower for a week, then u veg it, does that week count towards ur flowering still. The guys at the hydro store said yes it sill counts. If I go back into flowerin, I would still count those past flowerin days. Which would mean I'm about 5 days more into flowering. So if u know anything about that let me know bro. And if u don't know anything about it, then What Would MC Do? Gimme some insight on ur opinion bro. And I know already 1 answer is gonna be, check the trichs, yes yes. Well since I've never done anything but grow it to the finish and harvest all at once I'm not sure I know. I know Bluey did a chop on the first third, let the buds below get some extra light and then harvest the second 3rd and then let the last third finish up in about another week. Sounds too complicated for an old stoned guy to me. As far as picking the buds on the bottom for emergency consumption I have to say that I was tempted this time around as I was in danger of being light but the pot fairy made a delivery and now I can let them finish as usual. I have another batch after this one is finished so it's better for me to just chop and run and then move the grow res to the flower area. Also I like that some bud is totally ready and some is undercooked. When you smoke it, you get a grab bag of what effect you might get which helps with the burnout factor of smoking the same pot all the time. On the yellow leaf question I just know that as they grow my fan leaved on the lower part of the plant either die dead or yellow up from lack of light. Once the "fuel tank" is empty and they start to turn really yellow it's chop that leaf and open the plant up a little. I usually get about a hand full of leaves every week toward the end of the grow and lately I've been hitting those with some butane in a contraption I built that produces a nice hashish oil that I then add to some shit weed I have laying around. You might be able to add it to sawdust and get the same effect! LOL! Don't get much product. About 2 grams of oil per 20 grams of fan leaves but it makes me happy to get all I can out of the plant that way. Buddy of mine just likes to roll his joint papers in the oil. Makes the trip to the horse track verrrry interesting! Giggle city for me and he just starts to wobble a little. It's natual that the leaves die as the plant nears completioon. Happens in nature around fall in these here parts. Leaves turn a pretty color and then fall off and I have to rake! It's always an exciting time then the buds get close. You're experimenting and that's a good thing. Where you take the bud early just take note of what happens and if it is good, do it again and it not don't do it again. I did hte same thing on the nutes. Let them eat al they wanted from the last full power res change, went to water only and now you should see the yellow leaves. IN fact now that we are talking about it, I got a little trimming to do! Peace.

Well here is day 45. These first pics are of the PS. Staring to fill out. I can tell the difference in thickness on the nugs. It's starting to feel like a bud. I'm gonna let this flower for a few weeks(3-4) more. Being that it's a sativa, they should flower longer. Normally 10-12 weeks for a Sativa.
And these are of my 2 BC. They start getting flushed this weekend. YEAH. I have also added GH FloraNectar to these babies, and haven't seen any problems again. I think it was the res temp is what messed with it the last time. As long as I keep the res under 70 degrees, there isn't any problems with the FloraNectar. Remember how I mentioned they stunk. Well I added it 3 days ago with my res change and I can already tell it's starting to smell even more.
