Barney's Farm Auto Sweet Tooth

Hello fellow growing enthusiasts!

I'm 4 weeks into this grow and I thought I'd start this journal because I haven't seen many Sweet Tooth auto grows and I've also read a lot of differing opinions about topping auto-flowering strains. Due to their limited vegetative growth stage, some claim it to be detrimental to the plant rather than beneficial like topping a photoperiod strain. It has been said over many forums that it shouldn't be done. I aim to prove this wrong with my Sweet Tooth a.k.a Sugar Tits or ST for short.

The setup is basic because I don't take growing crazy serious.. it's just fun is all.

Lights: 8 x 26w CFLs (6 @ 2700k/2 @ 6500k)
Grow Medium: Soil. Miracle Grow something or other from Wal-Mart.
Ventilation: None really.. I do have a fan for some indirect airflow.
Nutrients: Stuff I got from my cousin.. it's 20-20-20 and for fruiting/flowering plants. It's not ideal and I'd rather be using something else but c'est la vie.

She's on an 18/6 light schedule. I make sure she's 2" away from the lights and she had been taking 2-3 days to reach them before I'd have to lower her (my lights are fixed, she moves). Last 2 mornings I've woken up to find her growing up past the lights. She's 13" at her tallest point. I'm considering some low stress training to space out her branches a little more evenly and slow the faster growing ones down. She seems to have taken well to the nutrients. There is some slight burning on the tips of the newer leaves so I've cut the strength back. I was using 4ml per 2L of water. I flushed her and gave her a half strength dose and that's what I'll keep her on for the time being. She's a thirsty girl. Bone dry every 2 days. I keep her room at around 28 Celsius and it seems to maintain a perfect 40% humidity with no help from me.

How does she look guys? This isn't my first grow but it is my first attempt at topping an auto. After doing a lot of reading and taking my experience of previous grows I came to the conclusion that I was going to take the chance at a reduced yield and see what would happen. So far I'm happy with my decision because I've never had an auto branch the way ST has. Her growth doesn't looked stunted to me. I've done some pruning. Mostly just removing the little buds that NEVER amount to anything, so I don't want her wasting energy on them. And I removed 2 sets of fan leaves for better airflow under the canopy.

Well. Had I known nobody on this site seems to care or have anything to say I wouldn't have gone to the trouble of starting this journal. Way to show the love to new members RIU.

Do you have any pictures of the girls before you chopped them down?
Your journal has been the best auto sweet tooth journal I've been able to find.
