Barney's Acapulco Gold

I haven't seen even the slightest bit of info about the genetics used by Barney to create this. They don't even allude to anything being from anything to be considered Acapulco gold in the heritage.
Welcome to the vast majority of euro seed companies. Most of them dont have any actual breeders, they are just buying bulk white label seeds from seed brokers and packaging it.
This is why one of the biggest mistakes most noobs make is chasing down all the old school clone only strains from these types of generic seed companies that only do marketing and do zero breeding. I'd guess 90% of seed companies on attitude are like this and you cannot find a single detail on who or how they breed their gear.

I order straight from Snow. Shoot him an email and he'll send you a detailed list of everything he has. He has flare ups with health issues and sometimes doesn't get right back to you but he will.

Oh for sure it's like that with most euro "breeders", and whether Barney's makes their own or outsources it, they do actually have some bred strains, not the F1 Mashups popping up everywhere.
I really only order Ace for the most part, because of the transparency for one, but using actual old school genetics.

As far as Barney's AGold, I'm ready to see how it smokes, because I love the skunky stink it has, which has been very elusive to find anything very skunklike.

Yeah, I've ordered mostly from US banks lately, and keep learning about new ones, I haven't heard of the one in Maine before, I'll check them out. Attitude has certainly had a lot of out of stock, and like you I really only ordered from them the last year or so because I could send money through Zelle and pay for it. The actually seeds I've gotten from them has been good.
Like I said I never got burned by the Tude,I prob. spent at least 4k over the years,I did get a few strains where the seeds sucked but in general I did alright and shitty seeds are part of the game in a new and murky industry,I don't trip over it,I'm glad a do a big grow involving 15-20 diff strains outdoors so I'm guaranteed success,if I was doing the indoor game in a tent getting shitty seeds would hurt more w/limited space and the higher overhead involved when a strain doesn't work out.

I ran a Acapulco from Barney‘s for my dad. It turned out to be a very nice plant- ended up being my favorite of that run, honestly. It yielded well for the size of my plants. Nice energetic effect and good flavor.
