I actually have 3 dogs altogether but yes, a two year old counts for my money. Looking after a 2 year old is much more work than just having 3 dogs and 10 plants to look after.

I thought it was time my males got some attention.
I am still not 100% sure what I will be doing with them.
I want to collect some pollen so I have the option of getting some seeds if the bud is quality.
I am a bit wary of the seeds being what they were sold as. If they are G13s then they should have some reasonable trics on them.
I bought them legally from a respected dealer so I am crossing my fingers.
Oops I forgot the pics.

This one is "The three stooges"

The one on the right is Eden, he is the plant i topped.


The one on the left is Sloof, he is covered in balls, see below,


He is where I hope to be getting my pollen from.

Below is a ball that opened up, this was on H the one in the middle.
He only had 4 balls and is really still in veg.


After I saw this open up I got the other two males out of my flower room PRONTO!

I have just sold 6 seeds for £20 too which is handy. I threw in 5 bagseeds so he got a reasonable deal even though I only paid £5 for a dozen of the seeds to start with. Touch!!!:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

I was thinking of asking you! lol.
To be honest I thought the balls went almost yellow just before they opened and I have seen pics of people harvesting them like that but, I would have thought you wait for it to open like the one pictured,


This flower has been open two days by the time I took this pic. I would have collected it the day it opened.

Would that be right? the pollen is the little banana shaped things hanging down. Or so I think.

Never done it... But if yur collecting it.. Check the vv' link i just posted in the journal he's doing it as well a few pages in is a run of instruction. There's a baggie... Over branch... Shake well... Seal bag. Put over fem. Branch... Shake her and there u go... But i dont know the timing so check with the vv'. He's on the bus.!!!

an old outdoor grower told me the same thing...haven't tried it yet tho

I am hoping to do three or 4 harvests, between 2 to 4 weeks after the first harvest.

A few people have suggested topping Alice because of height issues.
I am not going to top it, but I will put her (please let it be a her) into flowering.

I was going to start yesterday but it was too late by the time I
remembered. I am going to cover the plant about 4 hours before lights out and then put her in with the other plants when the lights go out.

That way Alice will get 16 hrs of darkness, hopefully this will trigger the flowering cycle.

topping does help with height issues - and some plants really benefit form it. but you can bend and tie the stems 90 degrees without causing much delay in healing time - even during flowering. You will have to train them a bit every day to reach that angle - but they're flexible. And if the break - don't panic - it will grow bent too! just don't break it completely off (duh!). apologies if i'm telling you stuff you already know... :joint:

No I am just going to do it the one time, 16 hrs dark then into 12/12, the 16 is just to highlight the change in the cycle to longer nights and try to trigger the flowering process asap.
I still don't know the sex but its a very feminine looking plant, some of the stipes look like female flowers.
I will say, before you look at these pics I Know they are not female pre-flowers, they just look a bit like them, and some of them are almost white too but they are all stipes or new leaves depending what you are focusing on.

On this next picture, it's a bit bright there but, at the top - left of centre - you can just see a new bud forming between the stipes. Well last week these came out all over the plant so I thought they were balls. it turned out just to be new leaves PHEW!




She is 33 inches tall so she will be a bit of a monster too.
IF it's a she.

My concern is that all my females showed preflowes within 6 weeks, only the males had to go on 12/12 to show their bits.
My only solace is that Alice is a sativa and the others were all one indica strain so it could just be genetics.
I will have to wait and see.

It's such a beautiful plant though, I will be gutted if it's male.

Oh here's one more picture that I forgot.

Thanks HHM, luckily I managed to get myself some quality bud, it's the sort that puts you to sleep if you show any weakness lol
A bit heavy, but nice and strong with no chemical taste.
I bet it's not the same stuff when I go back!! haha bastards

Im pretty lucky in that I have some good hook ups and never go without pretty top quality bud, brand name and all.. but at a hefty fn price! and on the off ocasion that my usal doesnt have any better than upper midgrade price stays the same... But he can kiss my ass and pay me now for not only quality bud, but somthing that is flushed, dried, and cured properly! I have a hard time believing that top notch bud that makes its way down here by the pound is finished in any way other than quickly.... Ok gd-purp has me babbling bro! sorry!! :)
