banana germination?

aloha all - was trying to feminize 4 seeds - put them in ziptop bag with 2 banana peels wrapped in papertowels - been giving them about 10 seconds of airing out daily - started them a week ago - when I checked them today, they had sprouted! any idea what happened?

it worked. The whole banana feminize is unproven btw.

i wanted to feminize the seeds to take to my new place (i'm moving) so i wouldn't have to spend the extra time to get up and running...now i'm going to have to find 4 babies a new home LOL well, live and learn... glad i didn't try this with my widow seeds

I had a problems getting females.then i tried the banana peel method.the 2 seeds i germinated came out females.considering i had grown at least 6 plants that came to be males before them, my results has totally convinced me .i used an apple aswell as banana peels in a jar by the way.dont believe me try it and you willl become a believer.who ever thought of this is a clever bastard and im stoked i can feminize seeds whenever without purchasing them through seed banks
