Bamboo stakes safe?

So at walmart and lowes they sell a 25 pack of bamboo stakes but they seem yo be painted green....anyone know if they are safe for cannabis plants...worried that the paint will break down and some way contaminate my ladies...ive searched google a few times and cant find anything

I've seen the green sticks used mulitple times. Plants haven't noticed neither did the grower.

I use Bamboo in my veg garden outside with tomato plants, the metal cages are too damn expensive and bamboo you can cut down for free. :) Hell some people would probably pay you to cut it down lol
but don't know about walmart bamboo, be careful its not china lead paint a common walmart special! If it is, your weed might actually make you dumb :joint:

So got another question does stabbing stakes in a plant during flower cause stress...i figure it does but i really had to get some support for my ladies

I would hope you stabbed the stakes into the soil, not into the plant. :P

You might have damaged a few roots, but the plant will recover. Don't worry.

Well ya in soil i put 5 in one plant that was the most ...only 12 days left any ways cant really Hermie em to much

The plant probably didn't even notice. And I doubt soil would break down the paint on a stake as well. At least not at any rate to cause alarm.
