it's very hard to find mylar over here. I was thinking to use helium balloon cover.

Not the same.
Foil has crimps and wrinkles on them,
which reflects the ligt in angles not all around like mylar!

I wouldn't advise it your better off painting ur room,
or grow cabinet flat white!

:joint: <-- thats my name! :P

Those balloons are mylar but you can buy rolls of it on ebay or Amazon if you don't have a hydro store in your area. It would be easier imo than tacking a bunch of odd shaped deflated bolloons on your walls.

Bro that is funny stuff. You went to by mylar ,couldnt find it so you came home with a couple blow up dolphins instead . lol ,I wouldnt have the hellium balloons in there with the high temps etc. It could explode and severly damaging a plant.

Mylar.

I guess I didn't notice he said China.

I'm not sure how much things are worth there. And I don't understand what you mean by "10 bucks"

That seems excessive to me when I can go to target, walmart, big 5, or anywhere else with a sporting goods section and get it for about $2 USD.

If it's your only choice, and you're ok with the price, then it's up to you. Personally, my boxes are lined with the stuff, and I'm pleased with it.

In the end, it's your call.

Emergency blankets are made out of a thin mylar, and they work fine. Next cheapest thing is painting I'm sure...

painting is pain in tha ass bro. also blanket is cheaper than a paint ..
But this will reflect a great amount of light and it will do it evenly
Which foil and "blankets" wont!

Just my .02 cents!
