Ballast Failures

Had a ballast failure on my "no name", 1000 watt system...dont be afraid to tear into it. With a little testing I located the problem, bad power switch, we by passed it direct and we are back in business.

If you want quality equipment buy American made electrical products through American electrical outlets.

A lot of the products out there are sub-standard...beware.

Do you know of any ballasts made in america with american parts?

Yes I do...will get American products and distributors from my electrical contractor brother. As many who rushed out and bought equipment after the easing of marijuana laws...lets face it most of us bought throw together Chinese junk in our rush to get our grows going.
My brother say you can buy "kits" for ballasts or complete rebuilds for under $90. Will post later today.
Like my brother says why buy Chinese which might drop an egg in six months (akin to Chinese tires), when you can buy American for a little more in price and have it last for twenty years.

Very few peopele are aware of how ballasts work or how to repair when on the fritz, one of the most important aspects of indoor grows.
