Baking soda vs baking powder

Accidentally used baking powder on my bud wash. Is that bad. Almost the same stuff. Did the 3 bucket method with BP and Lemon Juice Plain warm water then cold water.

Should I throw it out, wash it again, or leave it be to cure

Welp … one is all sodium bicarbonate and the other has additives like starch.

Dont know what your “ smoke “ will be like but maybe a simple plain water dunk could help - but “ powder “ may have left traces stuck to triches - my opinion.

Why did have to dunk in first place ?

Just got into a habit of doing it after a small outdoor grow. One of my plants has a long way to go and started to show powdery mildew. This one did not have any but figured what could it hurt.

I'd rinse with plain water.

Some brands have different ingredients. Looking at the ingredients on a container of Clabber Girl Baking Powder:

Corn starch, sodium bicarbonate, sodium aluminum sulfate, monocalcium phosphate.

I wouldn't want that on my weed.

Decided to give it a good rinse again. This was a not much maybe 2 ounces. I'ma roll with it. I put baking powder in baked goods and then eat them. Guess I will get "baked" sorry/not sorry for the pun but I am interested if anyone has made this same rookie mistake.

Putting things in your lungs is a whole different ball game compared to putting things in your stomach. Just saying.
