Baking soda for mold remediation? +rep

So one spot turned to 2, now 3, all on the big buds of my LST plants. I take off what I can but at this rate my plants will be decimated in no time, I don't think I can hang in there for 2 more weeks until finish. I heard that a mix of baking soda and water sprayed onto the problem area will cure this. Is there any truth to this, and if not, what can I do before I lose 7 months of work? I'm so close and if I lose them there's gonna be one pissed off dude round here.:wall:

All i ever heard from that is the best thing you do is directly harvest all containeds plants.. Cut the mold away with a bufferzone and dry as many not together as possible.. Think thats the right way to do it..

Can i have some rep? Really need it got downrepped for what appears to be spamming...

Yeah well fuck it. They're not ready, cloudy trichs so I should get a good heady high but I was hoping to wait. I can't adjust the enviroment because they're outside. I cut the bad sites off but one whole branch all the leaves are curling right down to the stalk. I'm not gonna flirt with disaster, they get the chop chop tonight when I have an extra set of hands for trimming.

For a group so dedicated to the proper growing and care of mj, I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of responses. Then again, I barely get responses to any of my posts. Rep given whatever, thanks man.

Hey Dude, the info you want is in the Libary at the site "dirt doctor", Howard Garett. Click Library, then "B", then Baking Sods. 2 sections on it. Beware that citris oil & vinegar is a natural weed killer. Also, I ALWAYS mix whole ground cornmeal in my soil to kill the bad fungi & bacteria, but promotes the good fungi & bacteria. A tea made with this meal, strained should help also. Read about it. But see the uses for Baking Soda at the DD site.

RIStoner,

I have found nothing to work for the mold other than cutting it. I had the same problem as you (live in NE too) and asked the same question about 3 wks. ago. The only thing people mentioned was a chemical that you have to spray on before the mold starts. I had to chop mine down about 2wks early too, but its still good shit. This friggin weather in NE has not made for an easy grow season. It seem that you can cut off one or two moldy buds one day and it's raining the next. That big difference in temp between day and night works against us too. What strain are you growing?

Good luck
