Hi everyone, this is my second grow, but I about blew up my apartment hooking up my econolight on my first grow, so I had to chop early and buds did nothing. This time I have two plants in flowering, one in Miracle Grow Organic Choice and the other in straight up regular Miracle Grow and Perlite. Today is the last day of week 4 - 28 days.. do they look alright? How much longer do you think they have to go?

Thanks a lot! Yeah, one of them stretched a LOT during flowering, as you can see, and is further behind in flowering it seems. How long do you think I have to go on the thicker one? I have no way to check trichs as of now.

I've grown two bagseed grows also. Most strains finish in 9-10 weeks so you've got about 4-5 weeks left. Maybe the first day of Spring or there about. If they are like mine they will fill out big time in the last 2 weeks. Get a little morcoscope from Radio Shack ($15) so you can see the trichomes. I cut mine when about 1/3 - 1/2 of the trichomes are amber. That's about as late as you want to cut and still get max THC and a good body buzz. I found that the homegrown stuff was actually better than I remember the bagseed being. It might be because it's mine. I know your excited and anxious but patience is the key here.

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely wait the full extent of her flowering. I think the thicker one looks pretty good for bagseed, but the buds are pretty small, though dense. The other one is taking sooo long to pack on any weight and is stretchy and kinda shitty looking honestly. I did LST on her at the bottom and then her top just stretched wayy up and I didn't want to break it so I let it grow. I really like a heady high over a body buzz, but I DO like potency as I have a very high tolerance.

That's the problem with bagseed. You don't know what is normal for that plant. At some point you'll just know it right. Right look, right color, right smell. I've cloned my best looker from the current veg crop of bag seed and bought some strain called LSD from Barney's farm and am growing a couple of plants to see if that has clone ability. I'll decide what I like and keep the mother of the grow off! LOL!

Hey guys, here is an update with some pics at 33 days flowering. Can anyone tell if the one with the oranger hairs will be done sooner? It appears to be a fast flowering strain. My other one is a spindly sativa and looks like it could take up to 14 weeks. I have included pics of the set up and what I could get of the trichomes. Please let me know how you think I'm doing! I also included some pics of plants I threw in there to do 12/12 from seed. They are forming small little buds on each of them. There are four females and one that is about two weeks old, sex unknown.

If you can see the trichs on the plant that is furthest along, do you think she will be early finishing?? Because she appears that way, but I'm not sure..

Tough to figure without microscopic close ups of the trichs. The hairs mean something but not everything. It would be considered a fast flowering strain is it can do it in 7 weeks. It looks like the trichs are somewhat clouded in the pictures. If it starts to take on a bronzy type of look then that is the amber trichs. You still have quite a few white hairs so you are not past the peek. Look under the GrowFAQ under harvesting for more info.

Thanks for the reply. Yes the hairs do look clouded, but I didn't know if they all looked like that or what. I will definitely check out the faq on harvesting, thanks!
