Bag Seed My First Grow

Wow, Great set up and great pictures! I just read the journal and will be a fan from here on out.

I use the fox farms line as well, so I have to say good choice!

I'd say that fourth pictured plant that is droopy on the 25th, looks kinda over watered, but thats just my guess, and I'm pretty new.

I use those exact same cfl hoods, I'll bet you will be growing more than 3-4 plants, pretty soon, just a guess. So don't throw away the cfl's, use them for vegging and seedlings and I even use them as a 'pre flower' room, until they show sex.

I just got my 250w HPS today, so I used all the splitters and bulbs from the flowering room in my other 'rooms'. worked out great!

Thanks You are a wise man, yes i am going to go more than just 3-4 plants.
Going to see how these turn out then go from there.

I should get my 400watt MH/HPS setup tomorrow and my Fox Farm.
Curious is I should use 1tsp>>1Gal or use the full 2tsp>>1gal.
I'll prolly do the 1tsp for the first 2 feeding and then bump is up from there.

nice job man..looking real good..im just wrappin up my second cfl grow and yours are loking better then mine did at that stage and mine turned out pretty dam good so i have high hopes for your results...especially with the hps on the way..good luck!!

Yeah, this farmin is kinda addictive! On the nutes I would 'ease' them into it. I'm going to try an experiment where I 'ease' some into it and then 'burn' the others with full strenght to see which one does better. I have a hunch the burned ones will adapt more quickly and eventually uptake the nutes better? Who knows but I love experimenting so this is right up my alley.

Well bad news........... UPS truck pulls up and I see him with a little dinky box. I was like "FUCK". So I sign for it and ask him if he has any other for me and he says "nope thats it".

Really bummed!!! I open the box and its a bottle of spring loaded light hangers, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. So I hope my plants survive until my MH/HPS gets here.

Just a quick update I have called him and email him several times and no answer or reply looks like I lost $210
I will let you know what happens...

Well I got a reply email tonight and the good new the light is on its way the bad news is not till 1/02/07 hopefully they can handle 3 more days of just cfl's I sure hope so!!


So I will have pics up of how the plants are doing tomorrow or maybe tonight.

careful how much yur spittin out there funnyplants look great ,,gotta keep an eye on ya since our grows are so close,,here's a 9 day shot of mine

Yeah they are pretty damn close cant wait to see how yours turn out. Here are mine on day 21 strictly 1 27w cfl per plant.

nice job. Where do you guys recommend getting CFL lights? Does Wal-Mart or Kmart or Seers or Home Depot supply them? If so, do you know which would have the best prices? Thanks!

picked mine up from wally dont cheap out and get a cheapo brand get a phillips or GE
make sure its atleast 23-27 watts or 100 equivalent. I am using them just until its time to switch to the HID

your plants will be fine until your light gets there. I started the same way,cfls then after reading and surfing the net I upgraded to mh/hps very happy with the results glad i switched why walk when u can ride know what i mean well good luck plants look good.
