Thinking about getting some outdoor fabric growpots- any highly recommended or to stay away from? Also wanted to see what sizes you all have used. I know you can go BIG for trees, but is 30 or 45 gallon too small? Here’s to outdoor 2018.

If you are not set on fabric, kiddie pools are 45-50 gallon pots for about 10-12 bucks. Half that if you pick them up in the off season.

If you are set on fabric, you can make your own from the landscape fabric. I've done tons of small ones, and one big one. I did use wire as a frame to hold the big pot up.

Thank you... great idea! I was looking a few fabrics for less than 40 for 5. I’ll look into that though.

Check out grassrootsfabricpots.com . They make their pots in northern California and they're high quality. Any size you could want too.

Amazon is also a good place to look.

A planting bed dug deep with a mounded top will always outperform a fabric pot. I realize that place ting beds aren't always doable but if you can than you should definitely consider it.
