Badass Ballast Review

well i love buying into hype to get real answers... i bought a 1000w badass ballast made by advanced nutrients. from day one it was the loudest ballast in my garden but never had a problem till yesterday when i went into my garden to see it wasnt working... figured it was the bulb... but i couldnt be that lucky after a bunch of testing i brought the ballast back to the hydro store to see whats upwith the warranty to only see they dont carry them anymore... majority of the ballast sold came back with all sorts of malfunctions... mine wouldnt fire a hps bulb and when it fired a mh bulb it flicker real bad... it work fine from middle of dec of 2010 till middle of oct 2011 not even a year of life... i wouldnt say it was worth it... hydro store made it right and gave me a 1000w dig ballast to make up for them failing my grow... im a real mmj patient with real problems and i depend on my equipment to work specially when i spend mucho dienro in this recession!! so advanced before you lose another customer step up quality control

thanks for the report! i was curious myself after seeing these featured on urban grower, i know he works for an, and thought kick ass until i saw the fan and I backed off the idea. the five year unconditional warranty seemed kick ass too!

my garden has expanded pretty large i think im gonna give house and garden a try and canna and see if i get as good as result and switch my whole line up... ive been using their (an) nutes forever in my aeroflo it consistantly does great! but after the ballast stop workin and i heard the other reviews im thinking everything bad i hear about an is true...

i have baddass ballasts and i think their awesome!

a buddy mine had some problem with his i dont remember what he said was wrong but he got it replaced no problem
i think he contacted AN directly so u might try that

AN stands by there products. I sell there ballasts and nutes I have had a couple of bottles of nutes returned that were almost empty and they gave me no hassle on the credits. If your buying your ballasts and or nutes from a reputable dealer you shouldn't have any trouble getting it replaced and if they have dropped the line contact AN direct they are great to deal with. DO NOT BUY ONE. I have one that's a year old and is blowing my 15 amp C/B. Call A/N and they will not deal with me at all. They will only honor the warranty from the dealer and not the person that own their equipment. My bad that i lose my sales slip.
