bad smoke

Hey guys just bought yesterday some weed from a friend who has growned his weed.I had bought from him also couple days ago but this time it had a distinct texture and smell.When smoked it it gived me a nauseaus feeling and a feeling that I was suffocating mouth and eyes were very dry and it gived me confusion, and it wasn't anxiety or smth.The thing is that he also left some weed branches more than necesatly hanging dry like two weeks and just then he put them in jars maybe that was the cause???Maybe invisible spores on the weed or dust?Who else also experienced this?
 
You can hamg dry for a whole month and bud wont overdry - it finds equilibrium with the air and stays there. Be a fucked up world if everything exsposed to air overdried and turned to a pile of shit tasting dust after a week or two.... :-)
 
I’ve read up little still novice but sounds like wasn’t properly cured maybe synthetic nutes or nutes in general I’ve read on one of these threads if you cure wrong you can active a compound that makes you sick when you smoke it or mold/ budrot
 
Its a plant, mess up and maybe it happens, inexperience or mold or bad dry/cure which maybe made mold again :-)

Absolute nonsense. There are no disagreeable strains. I've grown smoked and sold too much weed to too many different types of people to ever believe such nonsense. There's only bad(chemical) grows, no disagreeable strains. Grow good probiotic weed for once and your concept of strains will completely change. Your "bad strains" will be exposed as the ones that held on to the most of your bottled products post-harvest. Thats it. Thats all a "bad strain" of weed is; a tainted grow full of chems.
 
yeah I found the problem, when I opened the bud there was very tinny spots of mold, I took them away and It smoked well also I think it wasn't flushed very well because of the taste but that wasn' t the main problem, the mold gived me a suffocating high.Anyway thk u all of u guys for ur responses!!!
 
Hang for rwo weeks then its not only dry and ready to jar/smoke byt also taste and smells ready to go. If bud moisture isnt low enough after drying then mold will always happen. Here is a link that sums up whats happening and the basics -
