bad seeds vs good seeds

i tried planting seeds from the last batch i bought from my dealer but when i tried germinating them using the paper towel method, none of them grew.. so how do i know if the seeds i got are good seeds or bad ones?? and could anyone help me in germinating seeds the best and easiest way? i really wanna try growing my own and this batch i have is a great one.. i hope i could make one grow at least.. NEED HELP guys

Good seeds will be brown and usually spotty.

Bad seeds that won't germinate are those that are pale green.

I couldn't find a very good picture to illustrate a bad cannabis seed, but it seems that a good example is the one all the way on the bottom of this picture. It is easily distinguishable from the rest in that it is slightly smaller and is of pale green or yellow color. Hope this helps ya!

The Best and Easiest way is to just plant them in the soil, then saturate the entire pot with plain water, one time only. If they are good seeds they should pop up in 3-6 days. I usually soak them in warm water 12 hours prior to planting them. Seems to make em sprout a little faster most of the time.

I just started and was fortunate enough to have 7 out of 9 sprout for me what i did was got some jiffy pots filled them with soil saturated it once and put it in a small jiffy dome and kept the humidity high and got em within 3- 6 days

i germ them paper towel method but the key steps are to keep the moisture in the PT and to have a small heat source. cold seeds wont sprout, thats why plants dont grow outside in winter

also a bad seed will break if you gently squeeze it between your fingertips

the best way is to soak them in a glass of water for 24 hours and then put them in a wet paper towel between 2 plates. they should sprout in 2 - 3 days with this method and possibly quicker. if growing hydo, get a tray and dome and put the seeds in the starter plugs.

thanks guys! i forgot to add that i live in a tropical country.. [the Philippines] and i'm planning to grow them out doors.. i'll try everything posted here see if it works..

oh.. and i've been looking at pictures of weed posted by people here in rollitup and i'm wondering why does your weed look so good there and here in the tropical areas.. the weed looks kinda dark with no white resin on it..
