Back to a Grow Room - 4 x 600, 1 x 1000

Thanks, Stoned!

You have a nice setup; starting indoors and finishing in a greenhouse is ideal! There are many variables when finding your perfect flip time from veg to flower. In general, OG will stretch 3-4 times her size - especially if you give her a reason to (crowded, low light). 18" will typically produce approx 54" - 60" plant indoors under good light. Various cuts of OG have different traits which also affect growth rates in flower. Pruning strategies during veg, will also affect flower growth rates. I would say, start at 18" and dial it in on subsequent runs. Your 23 incher will certainly be a 5 - 6 foot plant. I can't speak for your Shipwreck - but most purple train is more like Trainwreck than the purple side of the family. Train will usually stretch 2 - 3 times her flip height, but Trainwreck has lots of variation and I can't say for sure... I would start with 18 - 24 inches on the Train. If your PT does lean to the purple side, she will likely stretch less.

Let us know how it grows!
Thanks a lot, looks like I better get to hardening them off then so I can throw them outside for flower. It doesn't seem like they have been growing that much the last 5 days so maybe their telling me their ready. I didn't have a Veg room setup before this grow so all my recent clones would flower very young, so this grow I had to make sure I vegged them out so they could be some Monsters

I wouldn't say my greenhouse is ideal hahaah it's an old shed w/greenhouse film for a roof but its definitely doing the job until I can afford a nice indoor setup w/ some 600w's : )

Keep it up ..... oh & don't be afraid to post some pics of those outdoor ladies when you happen to update
:peace:

I've been busy and have not had time to post for a bit. The trays of OG are now at 30 days; here are some pics of days 23 through 30. The Madagascar on the floor is 10 days behind at 20 days.

The OG are getting too tall - as I knew they would - but they look good. When the buds get too heavy, I will support them from the ceiling as best I can. I couldn't get the second row of trellis in! It seemed easy enough when they were small, but by the time the extra trellis came in, they were too big. Poor planning on my part, for sure.

At 23 days, this OG is beginning to look good.

At 25 days, she looks even better.

At 30 days, this OG is really starting to look like something! Pornstar on the left, and Skywalker on the right; real OG.

At 13 days, the Madagascar seems to have plenty of room on the floor.

The Madagascar on the floor is 10 days behind the OG in the trays. Here's some Madi at 20 days.

At 20 days, there is still space on the floor, but it"s becoming scarce. Madagascar blocking the aisles at 3 weeks.

Hey Dick! Nice to see ya. Thanks for the kind words. I did get some jar and nug shots of both tent runs (I did a second tent run off camera). I will post them to my old journal when I can.

Glad to see you are still doing the work too! U da man.

At 5 weeks things are looking good, but I have found mites on 3 plants. Most are dead, but I did find a couple live ones -- all is still restricted to a few lower leaves. I removed plant material as necessary, but there is little I can do at this point without getting drastic (which I will to save a crop!). I went into this grow knowing mites (and PM) were present, but managed to keep them at bay with scheduled sprays of Azatrol. I discontinued that at day 24 as the buds were just too sticky. I am going to spray the under-canopy with Azatrol tonight (day 37), and the pots to be proactive as best I can. I will be monitoring each plant closely to see if I can stay ahead of them. As a final measure, I will resort to a Pyrethrum bomb.

On a good note, the PM is under control. Just before my last sulfur burn, I found a very small bit on one stalk as pruned off a fan leaf. I will continue to do light burns weekly to week 7.

I hate having to grow like this -- fighting pests and PM -- but sometimes shit happens! I did not start or veg these plants. Always be ready for a fight when you bring in new plant material - especially plants already showing symptoms as mine did. Again, these genetics are so good, that I chose to grow them with known issues, rather than wait or work with something else. Let's see if I can fight this one out; overcome and produce excellent OG! This harvest will come down at 56 days at the latest (60 - 63 days is better). I will be so very thankful when I finish!

Looking at the picture, you'd never guess I have reason for stress at Week 5.

Skywalker OG at Day 36.

At 26 days, the Madagascar is catching up on the floor. I love the way this plant grows.

Pornstar OG at Day 36. These trays got too tall (as predicted). See how the plant in back grew right out of the light path. Her leaves clawed as soon as she hit the dark. Hormones in those light drenched leaves were not ready to 'run out of light' on their way up.

Pretty.... pretty tall! I added 2 more plants to the trays a week after the first 28. This late arrival is looking good at 4 weeks but she is towering above her older sisters 5 weeks old.

I will be watching things closely. The mites have me more scared than the PM right now. As of last night, everything was still fine. I am confident I can get through this with some diligence and luck!

LR way to be on top of things man, pm n critter issues suck period. knowing you had issues going into it made you more diligent in theroughly checking everything. its when we lax n get blindsided that it usually becomes a crises. ive faith you will bring them through with flying colors. great job of standing guard...

Mighty wash is frequecy water, to sum it up it shocks the bugs to death so it not a chemical, and yes
I use it
