Nice thread. I can tell you the GSC forum isn't all hype. I've only meet 1 person in the real world that doesn't love it, and none of my patents even know about the online hype. I cant say that about very many of the hyped up strains that I've run.

Yeah. Along with some White Jones (kromes cut) that just started flower now too. I have the GSC in a 20 gallon pot and have been vegging it awhile. Can't wait to see what the hypes about.

I am horrible these days at keeping this thread updated, sorry everybody...

My next round is currently underway, i let the plants veg a little longer than usual and probaly longer than i should have... I usually only veg for two weeks but this round i let them veg for 3 weeks because i am growing mostly OG's which aren't super bushy so i had to do some topping which slows things down. I'm currently at day 20 of flowering, things are just starting to get interesting again so i'll try to get back to my weekly updates.

Here's a quick pic of some of the garden, i added some more side lighting in the form of 48" T5 high output 6500K bulbs. The stretch is coming to an end just in time (maybe too late), some of my tops are only 3" from my hoods...



I also acquired a couple new strains to work with on my next grow, Gorilla Glue #4 and Deathstar. Again, huge thanks to the guys who made this happen!



I also made my first salve, Holy Anointing Oil. This is actually a kit from ProPlantWare that follows a recipe from the Bible. The video is pretty self explanatory, also add 9 grams of CBD rich ValentineX to the mix...

They look great other than the proximity to the lights. Do you have any room to supercrop the tops?
I use an extra made with coconut oil topically for inflammation and pain and find it helpful. Rubbing it in for about 20 minutes provides a real numbing effect and takes down inflammation. Doing it quickly helps but does have the take the pain away power for me.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Huel Perkins again. Sweet link, just straightened things out with valentines and am ready to flower, we might have to try this.

Another overdue update...

Everything is looking good so far. Had a near disaster last week, my inline fan that cools both of my 1000w hoods and is responsible for bring fresh air into my room stopped working. I believe it quit on me about 24-36 hours before i noticed it, i noticed the smell from the garden first as soon as i woke up Thursday morning but of course i had no time to investigate it before work and had two doctors appointments after work that day which kept me tied up for the entire day. The following day i got home after a long days work and went to check the room and noticed the exhaust fan had failed. The room was over 110 degrees F (thermometer maxed out) and over whatever the max humidity that my hygrometer reads... The good news is, the plants seem unharmed! Only a few leaves on the upper canopy closest to the lights had tacoed up from heat stress and some of the pistils have turned brown. Its pretty crazy that these plants can handle regular day time times of 74 degrees everyday to hitting 110+ degrees without any significant damage.

The next issue/surprise is that my Girl Scout Cookies Forum Cut is not the Forum Cut, in fact i have no idea what it is... This cut was obtained from the garden club, and the garden club owner obtained it from a friend/well known member on icmag forums. At this point we're not sure where the mix up happened but i believe it was an honest mistake. Anyone growing this cut from garden club that has any idea what it actually is, please let me know! The good news is, this mystery cut is looking really good. It might just be the star of the show right now, although its only half way through flowering...

Hey Huel. I've got that GSC cut too. Do you think it's a GSC cut at all or an entirely different strain altogether? How did you come to figure this out?

It's a shame. Just think how many people got that cut and how it has probably spread. The "it isn't real cookies" saga continues.

We got that cut as well. I do like the fake cookies just no one knows what it is. Bummer.
