Back At It With A Few Questions

hey guys so i just need a little advice on my temporary grow. I have two mother plants at a friends, moved into an apartment for the next year so avoiding anything crazy over here right now. Im going to take my 2 mother plants back at the end of the month and just throw them under a 1000watt MH for the year and everytime I go to crop it i will clone the clipping instead of throwing it away. I have 15 fresh cuttings ive taken that i want to begin flowering once rooted etc. So what i will be flowering with is a 250watt HPS in a 2'x2'x4.5' grow tent just to keep things minimal. I really need to make sure there is no smell..

I need help with a ventilation system, suggestions on mother plant nutes, and a reliable *canadian* website to order from as I reside in Alberta. Thanx guys! Feels good to be back

You should look through the threads

Carbon filter onagel ozone generator in a seperate box away from plants e duxt running to it... the best way to do it is ( you gotta be strong and fast) but get a big bag while tent is closed and prepate your self quickly throw door open catch air in bag seal.bag seal temt back up go to the top floor release the bag and after doing that the smells will be gone

lmao... ok so thats taking it to the next level haha. My issue is simply figuring out what fans and filter to buy because it is such a small tent with only a total of 20cfm. This will be in my bedroom, so i will seel my bedroom door up and use ona gel in my room. The smallest carbon filter ive came across so far at my local hydro shop is a 90cfm filter. Then they have 80cfm duct fans. They don't have any small powered intake/exhaust fans. I know the idea is to keep negative pressure in the tent, again my issue is just the equipment thats available to me.

Im wondering if the duct fans will be powerful enough to intake and exhaust. The next step up for duct fans is 250cfm. So Im thinking I should get a 250cfm duct fan and use it for exhaust with the 90cfm carbon filter then use a 80cfm duct fan for intake.

With mother nutes im not all that concerned. My methods in the past have worked just fine. I have however herd its nice to balance your mothers with a bit of veg AND flower nutes. I just stick to full veg nutes normally to keep things simple, there is always tons of experimenting to be done or research which I am not so far dedicated to at the moment with my situation and time. I used to be on here all day everyday researching and meeting new people. Love this website. This thread isnt exactly just to get a quick answer out of someone so i dont have to research, its a means of meeting people and connecting, sharing, growing mentally and socially.

I would really appreciate if someone can pass alone a canadian website i can order from. I always look at greners.com to compare pricing and products but its crazy expensive to ship to canada so... cheers guys, thanx!

You want a fan smaller then filter so a 200cfm filter a proper fan would be 200 or less cfm. If you have 16.5 sq ft round off 2 20sqft. So its a lil more then neede but guranteed to be odor free. A 150cfm filter and a 100cfm fam. That will filter all your air 3 times in 1 minute lil excessive but literally no odor. For exhaust fan find like a 40 cfm fan for exhaust. A small fan if your tent sucks in a lil your golden

awesome thanks! ya i forgot about that, that i need my filter to be larger cfm then my exhaust fan. And you mean a 40cfm fan for intake right. Do i need a hardcore inline fine or should the duct fans be sufficient? Im thinking they will be good enough but... I will have to see what is available to me at my local hydro store. this is why im hoping someone can post a website for me to order from so there is more selection and cheaper pricing. thanx again

Go to amazon or ebay.... you dont really jeed an intake fan just an exhaust fan. Leave a port open on bottom of tent and moint exhaust fan on top of tent to draw out heat. Make ports opposit of each other so intake port on lower left amd exhaust fan upper right etc. You want a neg pressure in the tent all your trying to do is keep enough fresh air and co2 in there the keep plants happy

I already ordered all of my equipment from amazon but i have heard of that brand of fan and they are top of the line, completely slipped my mind thank you.. I ordered just a bunch of cheap shit this time around so we will see how things play out, wanted to keep costs down, not sure how long i'll have this grow up for.

I have heard good results for foxfarm as well as the GH.. thank you again for reminding me haha.. i had wanted to try the GH line. For this grow I'm probably just going to stick with what ive got kicking around to keep costs down. I have a bunch of stuff from advanced nutrients and some other brands. Just curious of a healthy NPK ratio for a mother plant. Im just throwing all the veg stuff into right now. Also I meant a canadian website in terms of equipment but again.. haha THANK YOU, havent herd of that site yet surprisingly. Good prices, great strains.. I'll be ordering from them in the future. I'm growing a bagseed kush strain right now that i actually havent sexed yet but i'm pretty sure shes a she lol. Then i have a feminized cheese strain growing for shits. Id like to replace the cheese strain with godbud or something. Cheers

Advanced nutrients is crap, look, one thing that gets a lot of growers caught up is skimping on the price to save money then end up with sh*t for nutrients end up harvesting Alfalfa. Don't go down the same path losers have went go with the FF and GH like I recommended. and you wont be dissappointed

thanx man I can respect that absolutely, going to slowly upgrade just needed something quick at the moment, have 15 clones rooting and no idea what i was going to do with them. My plan was to just veg my 2 mothers under a 1000watt for the year and not flower n e thing cuz im in an apartment.. but now ive said fuck it.. next year i'll be on a farm with a few friends is the plan so just holding off till then.
