Baby Bud Smells?

Hey,

For next summer I want to grow around 5 plants or so. I am wondering if the baby's will smell alot from the time they are planted until they are transferred? I would prefer to keep them inside the house for the most minimal amount of time.

I want to start the plants off indoors in my downstairs closet, and then move them outside for a Guerrilla grow.

I am wondering how much 5 little plants would smell up my closet. If it would be strong how can I cover up the smell in the chepeast way (and most stealthy and hidden). I am still reading around and got some ideas but I am just looking for a few more.

I have company over often and don't want anyone making a surprise discovery

Thanks! :peace:

When they are small they smell a little but no problem covering the smell. Ya may not have to cover the smell at all. The more plants ya have the more they smell.

Thanks guys. I am gonna ask this here before I make a new topic. But here is my other question.

I want to grow around 5 females so I will plant 10 seeds and see how it goes. But right after germination can I immediately move the plants outside (leaving them in the cups), or will they most likely die? I would prefer to grow NOTHING inside.

The answer is NO you can't... if you start them indoors then you need to "harden them off" before putting them outdoors. This means the work of taking them in their pots from indoors to outdoors (NOT in the hottest part of the day) each day for a little time.. increasing the time with each day.

Hardening off is done with all plants started indoors. If you start them indoors with a/c environment and then just put them outdoors you will SHOCK them and some (if not all) will hermie up on you. You need to expose them slowly to the outdoor environment if you start them indoors.

BTW... not all plants are stinky.... I have WW growing and I'm almost done flowering and NO SMELL outside the grow room (and I don't have a filter). I cut a few buds early and dried them.... they only started to smell after dried and cured. On the other hand I had some Blueberry (died) which was stinky right away in veg state. ...... food for thought ;)

There were times I'd walk in the house and smell them, most times not. Right now, I'd say I'm about 4 weeks from harvest, and no odor. I gotta get right up on the buds to smell anything.
As long as you are venting to somewhere other than inside your house, you should be oK having company. Air will be flowing INTO the room, not out.
As for the company thing..........I've always felt that it was highly overrated!! Screw a bunch of company. Hell, I can't even stand myself half the time nevermind someone else!!!
