Today is day 14 of my first ever cloning trial and i still cant get the B52 and White Rhino clones to root.:spew: Has anyone else had any problems with cloning this strain? The plants i cloned from were 35 days old and i have included some pictures. I did make one mistake in this grow. I tried to save some money and i bought miracle grow potting mix. (BIG MISTAKE) My mother plants are currently in this crappy soil but i went out and bought some Fox Farm Ocean Forest for the clones and what not.

I used rootech for a cloning solution and i keep the temp around 78 - 82 and the humidity at 95%. I also take the tent off about 3 times a day to preven mold and to allow some O2 to get in.

Firstly, it's pointless taking the humidity dome off to allow o2 in - they don't use o2. The roots do, but any 02 the roots use will be in the rockwool cube.

It's hard to say where you're going wrong. You need to keep the rockwool cubes moist, but not wet, you need to keep the dome on for most of the time and mist them daily with plain tepid water to help keep humidity levels up. You need to have an 18/6 lighting schedule, NOT 24 hour lighting schedule as the 6 hours of darkness they get is when most of the root growth occurs.

I dont only take the dome off to let 02 in, although it is a HUGE building block in a plants root system, i also take it off to help prevent mold. I do appreciate everybodies comments and concerns =D. Im just hoping these babies root sometime soon.

For someone who's having problems getting his clones to root, you'd do well to listen to peoples advice instead of being a smart ass.

Don't take the dome off.

There's no need to and mould isn't really going to be a problem if they don't root is it?

I get a 100% success rate with my clones, but you clearly don't need my advice - you know best right?

Take the prop lid off - get some nice o2 to those roots, whilst stopping mould developing.
