Who still has plants going? I have to leave for 2 weeks and i am worried about bud rot coming while away. I can't really trust the wife and kid to watch for mold as they suck at it.lol. i have my plants in a green house with a couple hurricane fans running but have seen bud rot on a bud already. I dont want to harvest fro another 2 weeks as they arent ready but i dont want to lose everything either. What should i do? Take tops and leave the rest?

I still have a couple weeks left as well. Past few days I found a few buds starting to mold. Nothing major but once you find some i feel it doesn’t stop. You have to stay on top of it as soon as possible as it spreads very quickly. I would chop if you don’t trust anyone to check them a couple times a day but that’s just me

Try defoliation a bit to increase air flow between colas, heck even pluck a few colas if worried. The airflow from a minor defoliation works wonders. I harvested one because bud rot but mine are completely exposed to the rain, luckily it was pretty close to being complete. Now I got the fear of thief's, got the tent out back doing some good old yard camping.

Worrying about thieves sucks. Im in the same boat but my dogs are pretty good at protecting the back yard. I have stripped the plants since picks to try and help out flow. Just not sure what the weather is gonna bring for temps over the next 2 weeks. Greenhouse is more of just coverage as the bottom 2 feet is open around the whole greenhouse as i put it on pony walls cause of my 10 foot plant.lol. so it does get alot of airflow

I as well have at least three weeks left. Caught one plant with rot and separated her. I work outta town and I gave a quick lesson to the wife on watching for rot and she picked it up well. Other 3 plants no issue yet. In a small greenhouse, fans blowing 24/7 and going to see if a dehumidifier will work tonight... crazy how I go from 40 Rh to 100 in like 3 hours at night..
Praying for better weather

I still have plants going, some sweet cheese (fast version) and super skunk. The sweet cheese was finished at the end of September which surprised me and is the fastest finishing plant I've tried that's photo period. The super skunk is extremely disease resistant which is great for us here. I have picked most of the decent buds off all the plants but they all still have smaller stuff on them.

It sucks at this time of year because the temps drop and the sun just doesn't do enough. The plants kinda just stop maturing/growing. If I were you I'd harvest the bigger buds because they will develop bud rot sooner than smaller buds from what I've noticed anyway. Next year I'd try growing a strain that finishes earlier.
