I just got a old school hydrofarm 400w ballast... Anyone know where I could find reflector/socket w/cord so I can get this thing up and running?

Most grow stores will sell the cord/socket set up. I know Sea of Green does.

home grown hydro is also a good place. I went there and they are VERY helpful and willing to talk through everything.

That will give me a second place to look now! I originally went with HTG because everywhere I read they have awesome customer service and I haven't seen a single bad thing said. I was placing my order and they offered me a free gift which happened to be the 2 foot hood with 2 2foot t5 lights which is perfect because I was planning on getting those from home depot. I can't wait until all my stuff arrives!

One of the main reasons I went through them was because they carry what seems to be a very good base package on a full grow tent kit which I could just upgrade to my likings very easily.

yea thats why i like greners, a 1000watt lumatek a hortilux bulb 6inch air cooled hood and a couple a yo-yo's for 480 about 500 with shipping, i think im about to buy another 1000watt system from them in the next week magnetic ballast bulb 6 inch air cooled hood and a couple a yo-yo's for 211 buck new i havent found anybody beating those prices. ( i really want to wait and save for another lumatek package) but we will see...

yea it would be cool to see two matching lumatek's running my lights ! but i think i'm ganna upgrade to a new melon head reflector. i like the fact that they only weigh about 10lbs or so...

just put 2 T.H Seeds reg Heavy duty fruity and one Dinafem Blue Widow seed in wet paper towels, so we'll see...(the blue widow is all pale as could be so don't know about that one.)

well i have 4 diff strains going now so i hope these 2 fit-- i just need something new plus im trading for another strain so that would be 7 strains i hope most of them fit a similar grow pattern, but like i said the dinafem seed don't look to great so we'll see...........maybe i'll collect 12 diff strains so i could run a nursery...lol just a thought rolling around my head
