AZ BS thread

ok here is some major BS. i woke up today hella sick sour throat and cant breath. I get up to piss and notice both my light are off, then when i go to plug one back in i doesn't fire up so i test both ballast and bulbs, its my brand new galaxy 1000 watt digital ballast with great costumer reviews. i take it down to the grow shop to see if its busted and it is. i bought it online called them they were very helpful sending me a new one as soon as its in the mail, but i'm about to start flowering in 2 day thats not happening now what a bummer. THEN... i drive all the way to the east side of phx to (with my 10mpg) vehicle :( to get kicked out of a compassion club very Rudely ! for not wanting to give them my address they wouldn't even say anything to me after i said that to them no help, but what ever i took the five strains in my pocket and took off. MY glasses are bent i sat on them have to take them in now...now im going on craigs list to find back up ballast in case this ever goes down again. Like i said some major BS!!!

good thing about shopping local. I have any problems with any of my equipment, I take it to my fav store and replaced free, on the spot. No waiting

lol you sound like the guy at the store. for free ? how is it free when you already paid for it, nothing is free. i buy a lot of things at the store but they cant match prices with online especially on black friday... the place where i buy it has great costumer service ive spent like a half hour just bs-ing and talking about product. i borrowed a light ballast from another grower so i'll be fine til it arrives in the mail.. the one problem about local stores now is im finding the people there either know as much as me or usually less. i want them to really know there stuff better...

They dont know more than you. I learned that the guys at the grow store know enough to get a noob started but after that you are on your own. Yeah online deals are the best I'm just impatient and plus when I shell out some good dough I want whatever I bought in my hands. Oh yeah most of them get their info from this web site i cant tell you how many grow stores I been to and see the guys on the computer surfing RIU.

Anywas I took a break from chopping I'm posting from the iPad . I chop at the trunk hang the whole bush and then I start trimming fan leaves usuall I give them 24 hours hanging as a bush so when I start trimming fan leaves all I have to do is tug and they fall right off.
Curious, how do you guys chop and trim. Any cool tricks?

Trim right after cutting them down!! I trim all leaves..

I learned to just do my trimming over 2-3 days. trim for a couple hours at a time. I learned that just let them dry out because nothing is more annoying then that hay smell in the curing jars and that hay smell is due to not letting them dry enough. You noob growers need not to trip when the first 2-3 days of drying your plant smells like hay or grass because thats the just the chlorophyll bleeding out.

I know dude its pretty cool shit to see a R/O system that adds cal/mag...
I think I made my decision on next grow. Going to go for a Canna coco coir top drip drain to waste using house and garden Cocos. Pretty stoked now I have to decide what flavors to grow.
