TGA Chernobyl (Jack the Ripper dominant phenotype):

I absolutely love this strain. It has immediately jumped to the top 5 of my all time favorite strains, and I haven't even smoked it yet. I can already tell. The smell. The looks. I accidently rubbed my nose on a top while smelling it, and my nose felt like a smudged it with a glue stick. I actually had to get some rubbing alcohol to get the resin off my nose.

The smell as of now (they are around 2 weeks out I believe) is just as you would expect. The JTR dominant pheno is citrusy, and the Bloodwreck pheno just reeks of Sherbert/Ice Cream. I can definitely see how the two flavors will hopefully come together with both phenos, and produce the "Lime Sherbert" flavor the strain is known for.

On top of this, the flowering time for this strain is beyond impressive. I think this girl might be at day 45 or so. For a sativa-dominant strain, that is absolutely incredible!!!

Amazingly clear focus on those shots. Great pics. Would love to see your photographic skills in more normal background light.

My guess would be another 3 weeks, I bet they pack on the weight in that last week too. I'm gonna do a TGA run some time in the future, Chernobyl has just moved right up alongside Vortex and Jilly Bean in my personal decision making process. Ta for sharing. :-)

I know man, that's the main complaint I get about my budshots!! If I took the time to move the ladies, and put them under proper lighting, people would probably greatly appreciate it and acknowledge it more.

The fact is, most of the time it is a bitch to move your ladies during flowering, if you know what I mean. I can take shots at harvest time, but that isn't always what seems to be prime. Basically, I'm lazy and 7 gallon pots are bitches to move, especially when you don't want to damage the precious flowers during the move, rubbing on doors and walls and other plants and such.

One day, I will step up my photography game. One day...
