I think when I switch up my nutes I'll hit my gram per watt.

I'm havin some deficiencies caused by the propenseties of my
medium in relationship to the NPK's of my nutes.

(Basically my medium holds on to potassium which is locking out
calcium, magnesium, and I'm seeing some Zinc Deficiencies as well.)

So I gotta get a nute formula with a more leveled Potassium percentage.
THen I should be hittin a pound and a half per 600 W.... But that is perfection...
Until then I'll be striving to reach that point...

i am trying to decide on a good number of 2month vegged 3gal plants to put under 2000watts. i am also adding a trellis for support

A 2 month vegged plant would need a 5-7 Gallon pot easily.

Just wondering about an average outdoor plant at about 150 cm tall , with just fertilizer and nothing extra added.

from 1 month veg in 3 gal. pots iv'e yet to get less than 100 grams dry per plant (2x400 watts hps). Doing some 2 month veg in 5 gals right now, we'll see how it turns out...

figuring out yield outdoors is tricky due to weather patterns/temps/altitude ect.
If you get warm weather and plenty of sun, outdoor plants can yield much higher but it's i'd say it's much harder to predict...

Seeing as everyone has had different responses on a avergae, when buying seeds not sure why it would bother stating the "Yield".. If everybody gets under the yield it states. Bit odd. Never the less anyone know any seeds that will grow well in the South Australian climate and outdoor.

Under perfect conditiond & lets say it is all legal which it is not lol the breeders may be correct but thats a perfect world that none of us live in. Propaganda probably inflicted on us by big business. Plant it ouside boy everyone does it then pop goes a weasel.
