Auto's & Photo's

Decided to start a grow journal because I think it will help me get better at growing by seeing my progress. I'm still very new to growing and if anyone has adivce it would be very apprecaited!

Currently I have 4 photo's flowering. I would say they are about 10 weeks into flower since switching to 12-12 cycle. They got really tall and I didn't do any super cropping until I saw some light burning. Thankfully it's only on a few buds as far as I know and that this was the only problem I ran into. I feel like I'm close to harvest, I was thikning some time next week.



In my veg tent I have a mix of auto's and photo's. I recently started low stress training them and they are about 3 weeks old since sprouting.

Everything looks pretty damn good. Nice job. Best of luck on that next round.

I'd give you advice when to harvest but, if I'm being totally honest, I am notorious for pulling early and this entire site IMO is hell-bent on you having half your shit ambered out, so, you just have to feel it out.

Lol I'm the same way. I wanted to harvest around week 8 flower, but don't wanna chop them down too early. And thank you!

Thank you! I feel like I learn a little bit more each grow. Just gotta learn not to harvest too early lol.

What light are you using? Looks like a mars hydro in veg

Yes it is, it's a Mars Hydro TSW2000. This is the first light I got from them and it;'s really good. The dimmer is really easy to use, it shows the strength right on the box.

Not a problem! I like to help out whenever I can. In my flower tent I went all out for a light, ir's called HLG Scorpion Diablo 630w. It doesn't have a meter to show the strength on the dimmer, but the light is super bright lol. For nutrients I use Fox Farm nutrients. I just got Open Sesame, Beastle Bloomz, and Cha Ching during the flowering already so I'll be using that on the next batch. So I pretty much feed with nutrients once, next watering without, then nutrients, and repeat. Also I don't use their flush they make, I just stop giving nutrients a week to two weeks before harvest.

Sadly I ended up getting COVID and tried everything I could to keep up with the plants. The photo's in the flowering tent seem underwatered. They are in mid week 10 of flower. I was able to make it in there today and give them water. Other than branches starting to collapse and fan leaves look dried out the buds themselves still look in good shape. Might even be time to harvest by the time I start to feel better.

Harvest day for the flowering tent. Gonna check back on these in 7 days.

In the veg tent today. Doing some low maintenance including low stress training / topping. Just topping the photo's. Honestly not a big fan on auto's cause some times I feel like they flower way too quick. Already see signs of flowering from them. Once I'm done using the flowering tent for drying I plan on moving all the auto's to that tent. I did plant another photo. It will have a lot of catching up to do with the other photo's, but I got this seed from Ace Seeds called Killer A5 Haze. I'm gonna try cloning for the first time with this strain.

The plants I had drying reached Day 8 today and I decided to put them into storage bin with the lid on and a hygrometer. Going to check back on them tomorrow and hope to be in the 62 - 65% RH, if not I will take them back out to hang for another day.

In the veg tent all the plants are growing nicely. The seed I got from Ace Seeds sprouted so I transplanted it into a 1.5 gallon pot. The Autoflowers are starting to flower and I did notice some color issues with some of them, but I don't think it's a severe problem.

Currently it's been 8 Days hanging and 2 Days in the storage bin. Humidity is holding around 54%. I'm gonna give it another 2 more days and hopefully it'll be around 62-65% if not I think I'm going to start trimming and place them in jars regardless.

Decided to start the trim today. I couldn't get to all of them. Only filled like half a jar in 4 hours lol. Gonna get back at it tomorrow. But here are some pictures of buds I thought looked cool.

Day 2 of trimming and only got 2 jars done. A lot more work than what I thought it was gonna be.

After 5 days I finally was able to jar all my plants from my last grow.

Also was able to clean my flowering tent and move my Auto's into it. The Auto's are starting to flower. but are also showing signs of sulfur deficiency. Not the good at telling what's wrong, but that's my best bet.




The veg tent has 5 Photo's inside. They now have plenty of room to grow. I plan on moving them into the flowering tent after the Auto's are done.

Upgraded the flowering tent a bit. Also did some super cropping on some of them. If I did my math correct these Auto’s should be done around March 5th.

Nice plants/nugs, bro. I wish I had the guts to try this. But I just watch and try to encourage.

Appreciate that bro! The state I live in finally legalized it so I thought I would give it a try lol.
