Autos are they worth all the hype?

Apparently there is a big rage in Europe about autos. Personally I have always been a traditional indoor grower. I am thinking about picking up some autos from the tude just to play around with them. What are some opinions of autos? I know the yield is substantially less but it would be cool to have some harvests in between my normal grows.

So is it worth all the rage? Or just another over hyped product?

Bo but I do like to fantasize about about 100's of auto flowering lowryders in a vertical 24 hr 8 week grow. They just don't harvest very much though.

Yummmmm!

That's what I was thinking too I am not sure I would spend like $100+ on seeds for like 30g. Something about them has sure captured my interest however!

I am a regular(photo) plant grower that decided to give autos a try..I purchased some Easy Ryder's, auto ak47 and onyx..planted 30 feminized seeds..All popped and all were female,,Planted May 23 and by July 28, I have this........

Autos are great for a harvest before your main harvest. I wouldn't spend a whole lot on seeds but they're worth a shot. As far as autos not being a big or potent, I think that the longer autos are around the better the crosses are going to get. I haven't smoked any but the autos I have seen growing look beautiful, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I'm going against the norm here and saying yep, they're worth it, i personally just harvested my first two auto's, barney's farm pineapple express. Despite being a 'low yielding auto' i pulled average 2.2 oz per plant with minimal effort, transplanting issues and generally treating them like hell. After a week's cure the stone matches the 'name strains' i have smoked and grown despite a few exceptions... I've expanded my veg area to fit in regular auto's after seeing reports of some new strains pulling 2+oz on a regular basis in 6 weeks. I still have 3 pineapple express seeds left that i tacked onto a regular order, only cost me 16 bucks for 5 so the cost to yield ratio for these one's were acceptable with the quality and taste. Give em a shot you won't be disappointed

Nirvana Northern Lights are a great auto. I know nirvana had a history of their auto's not auto-ing, but the buds I just harvested, I'd put money you couldn't tell the difference between a photo. I know they've been back crossed and such. Here's a pic of the last plant I harvested.h5.jpgf1.jpge3.jpg

They are fun to play with, although the yeild is less to that of my pheno with my experience. Do not wast ur money 0n a lot of fem seeds you will want to breed one of the auto plants, then you will have hundreds of auto seeds to play with.
