Auto's and nutrients

I can't say I'm having any good luck with growing autos so far, but am not discouraged.

I have a "Cream of the Crop KO" that after my attempts to drown it in mud (fucking Humbolt soil), and my more recent attempts to save this plant, it's starting to grow.

The plant's leaves were telling me that they were craving phosphorus (yellow patches on the leaves), and I first gave the 1.5 month old plant veg nutrients and it didn't help. I then gave it bloom nutrients and it seems to have corrected the problem.

My question is: Do auto's grow better with bloom nutrients? And if so, when is the best time to introduce them?

I know that this plant is sad looking, and the only reason it's still in the mix is I'm using it as a learning tool for my other two autos.

Well to start off lets get one thing correct

after my attempts to drown it in mud (fucking Humbolt soil)

Dont blame the soil blame yourself for not doing proper research bud. The products you buy have been around and have done well for people for years upon years.

The plant's leaves were telling me that they were craving phosphorus (yellow patches on the leaves)

How did they tell you that exactly? You must have some ignorant plants if you believe thats what they "told" you mate...

Phosphorus deficiencies exhibit slow growing, weak and stunted plants with dark green or purple pigmentation in older leaves and stems.

Nitrogen DeficienciesPlants will exhibit lack of vigor, slow growth and will be weak and stunted. Quality and yield will be significantly reduced. Older leaves become yellow (chlorotic) from lack of chlorophyll. Deficient plants will exhibit uniform light green to yellow on older leaves, these leaves may die and drop. Leaf margins will not curled up noticeably. Chlorosis will eventually spread throughout the plant. Stems, petioles and lower leaf surfaces may turn purple.

"Drown it in mud"? Are you saying you did not have proper drainage? Whats the PH of the excess water? Sounds like ya got a PH issue or salt build up if the pot has not been draining properly.

Your not being very descriptive as i've mentioned in other threads. What ya prob have is salt buildup. If you have not already i'd say flush with about 2-3 times the size of the container, make sure it has proper drainage in it first though..

If you go to the thread you have posted in before

https://www.rollitup.org/auto-flowe...dvanced-autoflower-training-tips-secrets.html

You would of had the info you needed, its been covered in thread a few times over already. Do you want to grow your own plants or do you want us to grow them for you bud?

Wow.....you are a tad shy on social graces.

I don't have salt build-up. There were no nutrients added to the soil at all until the plant shown signs of deficiencies. If you look at the picture, you'll see "seapers", and the bucket has over 30 1/2" holes for air flow. I had not watered the plant or soil in over two weeks and the bottom half of the soil was saturated. My PH is fine, and I've been using the same water in my other plants without issue for the past six months.

Back to my containers....they are the same containers I used for previous grows and FFOF without issue.

I wasn't looking for criticisms about this grow, I was asking about whether to use bloom or flower nutes and when....which you didn't answer. I've read a shit-load about growing autos including the link you provided. I know that auto's are not nute-hungry and I only introduced nutrients when the plant showed signs of deficiencies.

Is there any other criticisms you would like to give?

Yes one more simple one since we are being so snide.

If you dont like what people post in your threads, then simply stop making them. Problem solved

Maybe in the future instead of posting

You will put a little intelligence into it and actually give details besides what you believe your magical talking plant is telling you. Its funny coming from the person who would rather blame soil then their own ignorance. But hey if it makes ya feel better ride out mate.... Good day :finger:

Edit: One more thing, MY PLANTS DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)

I'm happy that your plants are doing well....so are mine with the exception of the questions I had about this one.

Lilroach.... what is that indica to the right of your auto? It seems to be doing very well.

But yeah, you def need some nitrogen. Try a drop or two of superthrive in your next feeding as well, it really does wonders.

Yea, other than the slight yellowing that can be fixed, she doesn't look too bad.

I'll give her some nitrogen. Thank you for your response. The indica is a Dinafem Blue Hash that's the same age as the auto believe it or not. That plant (in Happy Frog btw) is growing like it's on steroids.

usually by 3-5 nodes or preflower its safe to give them a light veg nute
and at the age yours is at there usually screaming for (p) but still need a bit of (n)
i usually just start adding awesome blossoms (its junk but higher in (p)) to a light veg feeding about that age
it works for me

"at the age yours is at there usually screaming for (p)...."

See, I'm not the only one that has plants that talk. :weed:

post up some pics of the blue hash plant, i want to see how it looks. From what I can tell it looks extremely healthy, nice dark green. No N defencies there.
