I'm currently running 4 in autopots but with coco. Will be good to see how you get on! Last run looked great! Did you have any issues with you autopots? Like blockages or leaks?

I have been using ocean forest in autopots for about a year now with good results. I don’t use it straight up tho. I mix it 50/50 with coco then mix that 50/50 with perlite. I also add happy frog and bat/seabird guano. Works pretty well for me. I only use r/o water in my res

I’ve been using ether Happy Frog bagged nutes or Dr Earth. Both work well. During flower I will add Seabird Guano. About once a week I will do a earthworm casting tea. I don’t put it in the res tho, it will clog. I turn the res off the night before then pour the tea on top. If you don’t turn it off and let the pot dry up a little sometimes it will over flow. After it drains through the pot you can turn the res back on. I usually wait a few hour to be safe.

Fox Farms sucks since 2018 personally but no you would not want to use a soil in these pots. You need to use liquid fertilizers for the best results. 100%..
why do you not like autopots with soil? Super Soil and autopots seems like a natural fit for someone who is pressed for time.

Thats awesome, I hear great things about ocean forest. will def use it a future grow.
Most threads of people having issues they're using FF soil.

Super SOil is cool I was just saying Fox Farms is bad. Look at most threads of people having issues, they're almost all saying they use Fox Farms Soil. lol

I know nothing about super soil I only was referring to Fox Farms soil.

I have a few bags of M3 (Michigan Made Mix) and was thinking about using them in autopots due to very high drainage.. Just not sure if the peat in it would cause me grief. That medium loves to drink plain RO even without calmag. Not sure if it would have enough food though for a full bloom cycle without added nutrients.. I guess that's where Super Soil would come in? Cal

Thanks for clarifying that for me! You worried the peat would cause the soil to become to acidic?
I'm not concerned about the soil becoming acidic at all. I'm concerned that it won't wick up enough moisture to function like it should and I also am concerned of it staying wet too long possibly? I will test & see I have 4 new AutoPot XL coming in tomorrow for a run.

I run auto pots x8 XL size 220litre rez
I've run

Straight Coco....fail
Coco perlite was ok
Peat perlite good mix
Coco and clay ball mix the best
Plastic pot does the job
Fabric pots does great but a pain in the dick to clean
Didn't see a difference with air domes

I am curious as to how the run with Autopots and M3 worked out for you?
I was planning on doing my first run with the Autopots using M3. From what I can tell, the M3 mix is a super soil.
I purchased the Autopots, Torus Hydro PerfectpH, and M3 soil hoping for a mostly automated grow.
