Automatic White Russian, UK Greenhouse autumn/winter grow experiment

Hi guys & girls, done a couple of greenhouse grows but this will be my first grow journal.....

I recived some fem automatic white russian seeds a couple of days ago, the plan is to build a grow box and have 4 going at once. anyway dont have enough money to build at the moment so I thought id see if I could get one to grow if I planted it in the greenhouse this late in the year (it wont be finished untill around 11th-12th november!)

I have a small heater for the greenhouse and also going to cover the insides with bubble wrap which should all be in there by the end of the month.


I germinated a seed (2 plates, tissue & a little water) and today I planted it in its first pot. its planted in a mix of perlite, tomato grow bag soil & a few water retaining crystals. this is what I have always used to grow in with exellent results! I also use canna terra vega for veg and flores for flowering although im not sure if I need to use the vega and just skip straight to the flores.


The greenhouse gets direct sunlight from sunrise untill about an hour before sunset.

I put a bit of bubble wrap over the pot to keep some extra warmth in there,weathers going down hill now


I wonder how much I will get from this plant, I wonder if it will even make it lol! Id be happy if i only got half a rocket off it aslong as it makes it all the way through the cold and lack of daylight hours

oh, and I love that christmas tree you've got in that last pic! very symmetrical.

It was bagseed, grew some last year and some this year, that is the best looking out of all of them last year and this. the other 3 plants are some haze strain but not sure which. I had to dig massive holes in the greenhouse to put the pots in cos the top was about to bend over the greenhouse roof and I already had to chuck a few plants this year that got to big to quickly!

Im hoping to have a small indoor setup going over the winter, I mainly want to produce seeds for next years greenhouse grows, going to have a go at making feminized ones. I got some auto white russian, auto kush x auto ak47 & some auto ak47 x auto blueberry. so hopwfully will be able to get some nice crosses. instead of growing full size plants next year i want the greenhouse packed side to side, end to end with dwarf autoflowering plants, If I can get enough seeds I could do 2 if not 3 crops from spring to autumn.

I just checked to see how warm it is in the greenhouse and noticed a little bit of green poking out the autoflowering pot

Ah yea, I ran out of veg nutes a few weeks back, I went to growell and got some more canna tera flores but didnt get any vega cos I didnt thin I would be needing any untill next spring. its only 2 mins walk from my house so will have to get some tommorrow.

I need to pot her up aswell, I got a 7.5L pot im going to use but dont have any soil left. do anyone know if the is a good foxfarm alternative I can get in the uk as I cant find any fox farm uk suplier

I repotted her 4 days ago, she is now in a 7.5L pot filled with biobizz lite.....


Roughly how many days untill she starts to flower?

I think its day 28 today, when i went to check the greenhouse this morning she had her tits out

Temps in the greenhouse have been wild! between -1C and 28C! also the light here is well under 12 hours a day now so combined togeter its caused super slow veg growth

Lost count of what day it is, its been really cold wet and cloudy for a few weeks now, its growing super fucking slow! I got a 250W HPS & 2 125W CFL's im tempted to bring it inside and put it under them. its only just started to flower in the last day or 2, its also streching quite a bit, its getting about 10.5 - 11 hours sun a day at the moment and thats decreasing each day. I swear i only watered her 3 times in her entire life, I need to switch to flowering nutes but the soil mix is still pretty damp, it didnt help that I had a leak above the pot which constantly dripped into the pot giving it a good soaking.

oh yea, it also has no smell atall! even when i rub my finger on the stem

As long as i get more than £5 worth of smokable i wont have lost out. As much as i want to bring it in under lights i will leave it out untill it finishes or dies in the cold dark and damp. We just had loads of work done on the house over the last week. The electrician is just finishing up now then the house will be ours again. I cant wait to set up my new lights and start a indoor winter auto grow, il start a new journal for that.
