automatic-manicuring machines?? how well do they work???

Hello all,

I'm sure that most of you have seen them in either High Times magazine, or on line some where. Automated Trimming machines. Apparently you just roll the bud over the top of the trimmer, and it has blades under a screen that will cut off the leaves for you leaving you with perfectly manicured buds...

My questions are: Do any of you own one? If so, are you happy with it? How well does it "fine" manicure your buds? I've seen many in the magazines, and I love the idea even though they can get quite expensive for the upper models... But if they don't get the buds finely manicured, then I don't know if I want to spend the money or not. I would LOVE to cut down on my manicuring time, however. heheh.

at the prices they charge who gives a shit, I saw one for over 12, 000 go ahead and buy one and tell us. I like to make iso hash and dont mind trimming so I can toss the large shit and only use sweet leaves, I NEVER see any info on how easy it is to use the trimmings for hash, there does not look to be easy way to collect trichs, there are worse things in life than having lot of plants to trim. There were some posts of DIY trimmers that people have used including one where the guys uses weedeater line on the end of a dremmel tool thus making a small hand held weed whacker, probably better to rig something up yourself before spending over 500, I would rather invest in the washing machine and make huge batches of hash
