Automatic bilge pump

This question is gonna be hard to follow….but here goes……could the EC of your nutes have an effect on an automatic float?
Example RO (ec0.3) could that effect the solid state device inside of the pump ( Rule 1100 b)

Never a problem while running nutes. But now during flush, its constanlty overflowing the drain box(Bucket Co.)
The pump maybe has a magnetic style sensor (no moving parts)…??

No shouldn’t effect a float. If it uses a conductivity probe and you have pure water it may.

Maybe it just broke?

I might experiment around with it in a high Ec vs. low Ec and see if it could be the cause of my little flood issue.
