I have 3 autos that are ready to harvest, for the two day dark period can I leave my photos that have been vegging with the autos the whole time at 18/6. If I shut lights off for two days will it effect the photos. I am switching to 12/12 as soon as the 2 days are up because the photos are giant. Let me know you guys thoughts on this or if anyone has done it.

i dont see a problem with it, go for it...i would use a green light to check on them or to water them.the photos may need watering during those 2 days.

If they are ready to harvest, then harvest. Putting in dark does nothing

Do you have photos of the autos that are ready to harvest by any chance ?

Also welcome to RIU … many will help , some are well … touched in the head.
Photos and autos can play nice together at times , you just want to pull them at their true peak not what breeder suggested.

everything I’ve read and talked to people about said leave them in pots for 2 days in dark to help boost trichomes
tbh I tried this as well before and I did not notice anything different, to me it seems like when it comes to weed people think they are sending a spaceship to space its growing a plant and harvesting it. An advice from a person who overthought growing like most stop buying into every bro-science that comes from people and sometimes really good growers. Keep your plant happy and know to dry cure thats all there is to it to get the best out of your plants
