Autoflowering or Preflowering?(with pics)

Hey just wanted to see what you guys thought about the plants I have in VEG right now. 18/6. There are alot of preflowers on them at this point. Been this way for like 2-3 weeks.

So you think its an autoflowering strain? and If it isn't what would happen if I just keep it on 18 hours of light?

They look like they could be too dense to be preflowers, but it is still a possibility. Two questions: Is it a clone? How long have you been growing it?

it is from seed and it was planted 8 weeks ago in soil. When I got the seeds the guy told me it was "cali outdoor". so could this outdoor have something to do with this? I am not familliar with outdoor seeds, mostly just indoor seeds.

Im starting to lean towards autoflowering. Should I stay 18/6 on lighting? or switch to 12/12? And im assuming switch to flowering nutes?

Im thinking its an autoflower as well.. Alot of female flowers for it to be JUST preflowering...

How long has it been vegging for? I've seen preflowers that dense, but on a re-vegged mother. I guess it's always a possibility.

8 weeks is a little long for an autoflower, but again those are a lot of pistils for a preflower. Switch to flower nutes, leave the lights on 18/6. If you develop a N def or after 4 weeks the preflowers haven't gotten any bigger, go ahead and switch to 12/12. I'll be interested to see how it turns out.

I will give it a shot and see how it goes. I will repost pictures when the buds start getting some size and let you all see how it turns out.

Day 6 of flower nutes. still on 18/6. preflowers are getting bigger but im gonna switch over to 12/12 today so they will really start to bud out.

One question on that first picture, it has ALOT of fan leaves. should i clip some of them or leave them?

Sad story cuz these guys were supposed to be my mother plants for the next grow and they turned out to be autoflower=(. Oh well, I'll have a nice harvest!

Put 1000 watt hps on the 3 plants and switched them to 12/12

Anyone have problems with and 80degree grow room?

After 1 and a half weeks of 12/12 under 1000w hps

hey man, if i might ask, what kind of soil and nutrients have you been using since the beginning? your plant look really good.

im using fox farms ocean and forest soil with botanicare pure blend pro for veg under 400 watt mh and then kool bloom by general hydroponics for flower under 1000 watt hps. been working very well for me. strain is some kind of cali outdoor. not for sure tho.
