hello my fellow growers,
im quite new at all this growing shanizzle but ive recently purchased online some blueberry lowryder autoflowering seeds, ive planted a seed in my grow box which i have made, i have 2 100w bulbs 2700k and they have been in there for just over four weeks now with a 18/6 light schedule, but from what pictures ive seen online my plant seems to be growing slower and the leaves look different, like a normal plant, if you could have a mooch at my pics and reply if you have any info i would appreciate it. newerz

Is that 100w the actual wattage or equivalent? You want at least 100 actual watts of lighting per plant. Otherwise there just isn't enough intensity to cover the whole plant, which means much smaller yields. What are you using for soil? Nutrients? Air exchange?

Also, you don't need to post this same question in 3 different threads... once is enough :)

Yeah dude a little more info would help. But CFL are only good for veggin and not so great for flowering. You need a shit ton of them to get descent smoke. The nuggz will probably be really fluffy/airy and not to frosty. im not hatin, ive just been there before. What about 250w hps or 400w hps? You can get theese pretty cheap on eaby or other sites.

Looks really good IMO. But your cfl's are not going to cut it. The equivelant does not matter you need 100 watts of ACTUAL wattage. Looks to be nice node compaction but you will def need to either get more cfl's or upgrade to a hps. And yes that is a ganja plant bud. They tend to look a little different when they are young but wait till she gets older. If money is an issue just go to lowes or home depot and get some Y splitters and i have put four 25 ACTUAL watters in one socket and youll get an alright yield out of her. When and if you get more coin just check out htgsupply.com and you should be able to find a HP sodium light to fit your budget bro. Hope this helped.

Just curious how far above the plant do you have you cfl's? You can get them a little over an inch or two from the top of the plant. Just check on her everyday and raise it as needed. Cfl's dont put off that much heat. And if you can just throw a fan in there to circulate the air and blow on her to strengthen the stem.

As previously mentioned, your CFLs arent going to cut it. If you want to go CFL, the more the merrier! From experience, you want as MUCH LIGHT AS POSSIBLE when growing lowryder, or any autoflowering strain to achieve even satisfactory results. It can be discouraging on first grow attempts with autoflowers because most people expect much more yield then they end up with...your better off to plant directly in the final pot, 2-3Gallon, and grow on 24/0 light cycle. 20/4 is fine if your really fussy about your electricity usage. And remember, every bit of stress you make on that plant from the minute it cracks its seed shell will have a negative impact on final yield as its life cycle is based upon age rather than photoperiod.

you work with what you can afford. I use to grow with cfl's and was able to yield a descent ammount. Now that being said, I have since upgraded to HPS lighting and it has made a WORLD of change in my yields. If you can scrape together the coin while you grow with what you got I would highly recommend at least getting a 400w HPS. CFL's will do it but just not to the plants fullest potential.

Lowryder is my fav in the auto world....great hardy little plants with a killer high. They are going to yeild in relation to their care....please save up for a hps lamp so you will be able to get a yeild like my last lowryder grow.
